I know that Best Buy. Sometimes go there just to browse.
Well good thing they didn't let their pants hit the ground.
This is almost as good as those guys who robbed a bank in Sweden with a helicopter.
That's pretty awesome.

Staking the place out, huh? :cop:
That's a lot of work for just a few laptops, though.

no macs cost LOTS of money!
Thats pretty god damn awesome.
yeah cause touching the floor sets off the sophisticated best buy alarm system
That's pretty awesome, just for their hard work--albeit not morally good, was pretty awesome.
I would have paid to witness that

morals are subjective.
Only in New Jersey <3
That's pretty fucking badass.
If anyone's interested, I'm guessing they picked it up from this guy. Interesting stuff. Same M.O going through the roof and taking computers/modems.

Obviously the floors aren't pressure sensitive. Their motion detectors are placed to pick up the movement of somebody walking across the floor, not somebody walking across the top of the shelves. Way to be :downs:

Sucks to work at Best buy
I wonder if Bestbuy or Apple will be able to track them. I.E. internal mac address or serial #'s on the os?
I know many others have said it already, but that's pretty badass regardless of it being a crime. I'd say they earned the Macs.
Sucks to work at Best buy
That's about when I had to go to work at Kmart.
This tells me that Macs are far too fucking expensive.
Holy fuck that's 10 minutes from where I live!

Same for me!
But I have a thick roof, so no worries.
I got my laptop fixed there too :C

Which is dumb, because you could traverse just about any retail store in existence via the shelves alone.
I actually want to attempt this in a grocery store someday
Clever gits.
This story is fairly old, guess this news site just reposted it. I heard about it 2 years ago when I worked at best buy.

MAC users and fanboys are too stupid to do this, it has to be Linux.
