volcano's kill almost 1000 people every single year, what the f**k are you talking about? That's like saying "unexploded bombs from ww2 are amazing!" with no respect for those who have been harmed, killed or otherwise affected by them EXPLODING. i get it, they're sciencey and look cool, but have some respect for the dead... think about the terrible inconvenience this is going to cause and the affect it'll have on our atmosphere
I'd call you an idiot but that would be an insult to idiots. Not only did the point of his post go way over your head, you state incorrect bullshit facts and also state the very painfully obvious fact that volcanoes kill things to death. Also, you can say fuck on facepunch young one.
I bow down to the Gaia hypothesis and take my leave.
so volcanos are a natural ISIS? i guess this is an isis free zone though so there's no one to back up isis and plenty of people to back up volcanos. gg.
from the look of this thread and the amount of dumbs given to my posts, i'd say you were the people who were offended. i'm glad you are the official thread spokesman now though, you know, so you can tell me that as long as i dont explicitly mention any of the negative side affects of volcanos, they're simply amazing interesting geological activity. way to turn a blind eye. ever tried empathising with a guy whos dad died in a volcano or the trible people whos whole villages were destroyed by a volcano because they didnt know what it actually was? they'd probably think volcanos were a right cunt and not "amazing" or "beautiful"
Yes. Except it's possible for people to think different things about different things. The deaths caused by a volcano blowing its top are not good. The actual geological activities that go on are interesting.

I'm pretty sure water kills more people.
Natural disasters can be beautiful and terrifying at the same time.
Does this mean we can't say water is an amazing thing? If someone died on earth, because of earth would you say earth is "a right cunt"?
i don't see why not? the earth is every bit responsible for their actions as someone with mental illness, they may not be able to control themselves, but they certainly will pay the consequences.
Did a volcano kill your parents or something?
why bring my parents into this? they're alive and well. joking about my parents dying should score you a few funny ratings though, so good on ya!
And we celebrate that? and yet no one is jumping in joy after cancer causes mayhem in someone's life (like a volcano errupting, executing its potential). I WONDER WHY. Sorry but the word that was used was "amazing", you are literally not even reading what you're responding to. is it because you read it in a dumb voice? audio placebo is a very real thing it's not even worth responding to you sickos, but you know, just like josef mengele would have said 'knowledge is more important than human lives' rest in peice to all living creatures affected by this anomaly in nature
Did a volcano kill your parents or something? I can't imagine how you'd react at a science fair with dozens of volcano experiments.
Just want to point out that incorrect bullshit isn't a double negative.
hey nice, now everyone in this thread knows how dumb i am!! right? you're like a godd*mn internet sniper with a sharp eye for the slighest wrong peice of infomation if something is incorrect then it is not true, if something is not true, it's bullshit. why would someone feel the need to put the two synonyms ajacent to eachother? oh yeah, beacuse saying bullshit makes him a mature poster and calling me an incorrect kid makes me look oh so young and stupid
I can't imagine how you'd react at a science fair with dozens of volcano experiments.
i dont know if anyone has ever told you this, but the volcanos in science projects are generally comprised of baking soda and food colouring.

As opposed to an educated guess. The guy is trying to say that not only does he disagree with you but he thinks your viewpoint is unfounded. On a side note, we are all friends here mates I think you should calm down.
Volcanoes are seriously awesome, I want to drop stuff into one and watch barrab squirm.
Volcanoes and tornadoes are some of the coolest things on Earth.

"I just want to say..." you literally just sniped a bracketed two word piece of my post, that is not the behaviour of someone who is having a friendly conversation. i know it seems like a good idea to make it seem like i'm raging behind my computer monitor because it undermines me without you having to actually talk about volcanos. And how is my viewpoint unfounded? i have posted odd statistics and been researching on the fly.
nuclear explosions....are rad!!

Volcanoes and tornadoes are some of the coolest things on Earth.
You know what's cooler? Volcano thunderstorms. Probably the coolest thing on the planet, ever.

In the moment before death at least.
I think everyone kind of just wanted to talk about the thread and can't understand why you appear to be bent out of shape over the issue.
Either a misunderstanding or hes trolling. probably for the best if everyone just walks away.
They're still a sight to behold even when you know how much damage they can do.
Got nothing on fire tornados.
he said "Volcano's are amazing things." "please zing my post" really, what are you even trying to say with that? it's not even a pun
He's right though, they are amazing.
Awesome is probably the best word to describe extreme natural phenomenon, because the word leaves room for fear/shock and reverence. Seeing a tornado is Awe-inspiring. It's Awesome. If you don't think earth and it's natural phenomena are awesome then I feel for you. [editline]13th March 2015[/editline] Amazing can describe the same emotions as awesome, too
Bahaha- I'm sorry for the locals, but i've got a friend who just recently jumped ship from the US to become an expat. His first destination was Costa Rica, where he's been for the last 3-4 months. Every day I'd get on Facebook he would have sent me (and a couple others I know) gloating messages about how awesome it is to live down there and how we're really missing out and need to follow in his footsteps. ENJOY THE FUCKING ASH, ASSHOLE!
-snip wrong thread-
i bet barrab doesn't even live near a volcano. i'd literally die if the one near me erupted and i still think that volcanoes are awesome
Holy shit is Barrab on meth or something?
you are aware that volcanos don't just close airports, right???? do you even know why a volcano would cause an airport to close? i'll give you a hint, it has something to do with the massively interrupting and toxic chemicals released when a volcano errupts - what else do you think that does to the envrionment? what about all the birds and insects killed by the fumes, unable to escape such fates without our advances in technology?
you know, those fumes actually help cool the plamet down, meaning volcanos are a good thing for us not to further reply to him or anything, just, volcanos aren't that bad
we're not enjoying the damage, we're enjoying the cause.
speak for yourself
