Not if it goes against the general opinion of Facepunch.
or maybe you could stop crying about a small clump of brown pixels that only signify other people's opinions
don't get mad when people have an opinion different than yours
Its not even an opinion, 60 is just a direct upgrade, there is literally no downside over 30, it is simply better
But it's breaking the rock solid 30fps cinematic experience!

You need 24 frames per second for cinematic experience.

I thought it was 15
When I was playing Saints Row 2 it was so cinematic omg
This is nice and fine, but was Dead Rising 3 even a good game? I heard it was fucking horrible and judging from the videos I don't even want to touch it. It looks like tryhard "so randum xD zambies hack and slash" from how they were advertising it. Dead Rising 1 and 2 were like that, but there was still also a survival aspect and urgency to how you planned your route.

It doesn't bring much to the table innovations wise, but it's not bad, average story and slightly better gameplay wise than Dead Rising 2 in my opinion.
If they add Steam Workshop, this might become one of the best co-op games then. The modding possibilites are endless.
At least I judge it by how fun DR2 was, and slap mod support over that fun with proper PC performance.

From what I know it keeps up with Dead Rising 2 but just makes the gameplay a more polished aspect of the game. Dead Rising 1 and 2 are both wacky goofy "so randum zambies" type games already, and I doubt that formula changed at all. They probably just improved the way it plays similarly as to what happened with Dead Rising 2 in comparison to Dead Rising. You could move while shooting, navigate the game world more fluently and in general just improved the responsiveness and control you felt over your character making the game feel less wooden and therefore better.

And just to add a bit, when DR3 was first announced, it got some backlash because it seemed too serious compared to the previous games. Then they showed off some of the silly stuff and people seemed to be fine with it afterwards.
It hope that somebody makes a survival mod that has you kick the bucket after getting bit (slowly of course).
As the zombies in Dead Rising are weak, but come in in masses and getting bit happens really easily.

Isn't that already happening with the whole zombrex thing?
Getting randomly bit in DR is too easy, I can only see it as infuriating if it causes fatal consequences.

Also isn't the main character of Dead Rising 3 unlike the two from the last game [sp]Immune?[/sp]

[sp]He is one of the original fifty orphans that Carlito Keyes used to create a cure for the zombie parasite before he started the events of the first game. Nick has a tattoo on his neck with "#12" written on it. Isabella Keyes and the wheelchair lady from Case West want his blood to extract and create a cure though their motives are different and it's explained through the games story.[/sp]
Anyways, I'm pretty interested in getting the game when it comes out and to see that it has mod support is always cool.
If the developers weren't so lazy they wouldn't have even set it to 30fps in the first place, only through community backlash did they offer to change it, but hey ho, its uncool to insult a company that facepunch wanks over.

lmao what is your problem
they were just like 'we can't guarantee it'll work completely on 60fps, it was designed for 30fps', and they're now announcing 60fps and mod support BEFORE THE GAME is released. it was set for 30fps because it was 30fps on the xbone and they limit framerate on every game on consoles so it's completely normal. but hey ho, let's find reasons to keep hating a company even though they respond to the community
they listen to their community, fuck them for not completely relying on themselves
yeah wonderful

Capcom or Microsoft?
Neither of these companies have been positively received here lately
60 fps is allways better than 30 fps if the graphics is the same. I can understand why you want to sacrifice fps for better graphics in some games and vice versa. All this is a personal preference.
One thing that dosn't make any sense however is when developers code physics and gameplay directly to the fps. The game engine should be coded against how long time since the last game update was so you can change the fps to 10000 or 1 if you want without it breaking the game. I'm a shitty programmer and even i know to do that in xna. There is no excuse for AAA developers being this lazy.
