i'm sure they tried scanning a cat, but the initial results from just strapping it into an mri was sufficient enough to suggest cats hate humans
yeah cats hate humans, thats why mine gets anxiety when im not around when she can't curl up on my lap and sleep, or gets really excited and runs to the door to greet me with headbutts then goes back to sleep.

Definitely not some sort of generalization nope.

Anyway I find this interesting, I never really thought dogs felt that way about us, guess I should get a dog sometime soon.
Now put a stranger on the other side of the machine the dog can see whilst being scanned.
I bet they'd get high readouts in brain activity related to agression.
maybe they shuld scan ur brain to figure out why ur so dum
They became wired to pick up on our scents. Evolution is interesting huh?
Friend has 8 little 6 week old fluffballs she's looking after, and she came over for the day, so we have 8 of these little things running around

This is the kind of dog I got, she's fine and dandy, a bit special. A drunk russian once came over to it and tried to pet it, the way she reacted made him say "This dog reminds me of my girlfriend"
Very reserved personality, doesn't trust outsiders, kind of specific to that breed of dog. But when she gets somebody to know she treats them with all of her love.
Sadly I had to move from my family because of some incompatibilities between them and me and the new place I live at doesn't allow pets. So I almost never get to see her anymore :(
Reminds me of the article where cats had their brains scanned and apparently they just think we're giant cats.
But cats look you in the eyes as well... Every cat me/my parents owned (20+) did that. so, what is this article saying really
my sis's goofy dog is the best

(not actually my dog) but saluki are insanely slow to gain weight and are I believe the lowest body fat dog breed out there. I know the feeling though, I asked the owner the same thing when I first saw them.

I love my Australian Shepherd Kodi, he's turning 10 this December but he still acts and has the energy like a pup.

Big dogs like Huskies/Malamutes/Hybrids/German Shepherds/Shepherds General are beautiful.
I love my dog.

Lmao is it because you got attacked by one dog you think every dog is a murder machine? God you're so dumb.
Depends on the cat.
My cats are that way, I'll be sitting in my chair and she'll paw at me and either jump into my lap or I'll pick her up, and she'll sit and let me pet her for maybe 2 minutes and then she'll be like OK NOW FUCK OFF and bite my hand and run off.
A bit late but w/e, cats bite when you pet them because they get overstimulated.
I want a dog but I'm super allergic to anything with fur :(
If it wasn't for my Yorkshire dog, Chad, I'd probably be dead when I was little.
Thanks dogs!

One of my dogs is terrible at sleeping.
He's borderline autistic but I love him.

The top one okay when they grow up.
Middle one? Ehh, it'll go too altho slightly creepy looking.
The bottom one however? Just look at it, its asking you to euthanize it.

I dont think that "Man's best friend" is a good title to something that can attack without any provocation whatsoever.
I defiantly believe it, my dog is great.

[T]http://i.imgur.com/lnKP48c.jpg[/T]
Oh god non, not those fucking dogs. My ex had one and holy fucking shit it was the dumbest, most mentally challeneged dog in existence. Bastard would just drool everywhere, bark for no particular reason and would attack anyone who went near the little girl in her family. I've had good experiences with dogs before but holy shit I swear dogs can be autistic too

"Dogs are also the only non-primate animal to look people in the eyes."
And the only animal that looks at your hand when you want to show them the dog on the television.
