Origin is actually great. It runs smoother than Steam does for me and game downloads are noticeably faster. Assuming you are talking about Battlefield games, their ingame server browsers weren't much better or were outright worse.
At least their ingame servers weren't saying Fuck You to the filters, and showing what servers it felt needed attention because they've been empty and are empty, rather than full servers. Every damn time you hit refresh you get a different list of fucking servers. On the console though? In-game and works fine. EA said before spring that they were going to turn over a new leaf. They turned it over onto the side it was already lying on. EA isn't going to change
They don't even do any developing, they slap a logo on some other company's game and take profits.
Origin is actually great. ea is too preoccupied with the bottom line and stock prices and they think because they sell a few AAA games that everything will sell and be great [editline]28th November 2013[/editline] I probably would buy a bunch more games too if they removed the origin login from games that I buy on steam
EA isn't the worst company in America, there are a lot worse companies that do more evil than a gaming publisher, people are just stupid. Target corporations that use sweatshop workers for cheap labor and that damage the environment for fuck sake
no who cares about homes being foreclosed and children making shoes a company made bad video games
IMO EA has improved a ton lately.
no who cares about homes being foreclosed and children making shoes a company made a bad video game
At least EA reacts to it, I'm pretty sure if those companies were voted worst company of the year they'd look down at us and go 'oh look the peasants are squabbling again'
you won't get any votes for it as long as you keep up with the battlefield 4 bullshit [editline]28th November 2013[/editline] Or that trash that was nba live
We're sorry take our double XP weekend :(

People with psychosis are more in touch with reality than EA.
yeah because mocking a company for wanting to better itself is totally the best way to inspire them to actually do it its like telling someone to keep murdering people because they are a known murderer instead of convincing them to stop
it's more about how they were voted the worst company in america it's nice they want to change but considering how massively they've fucked up it sounds like a joke.
yeah because mocking a company for wanting to better itself is totally the best way to inspire them to actually do it its like telling someone to keep murdering people because they are a known murderer instead of convincing them to stop
It's not that they're trying to change, it's that they're only realizing this now, even though people have been saying it for years.
Kinda lost my vote for this year when they literally fucked dice over with bf4 by not listening and not waiting for dice to smooth out the edges an assload. No we have to compete with call of duty ghosts.
yeah because mocking a company for wanting to better itself is totally the best way to inspire them to actually do it its like telling someone to keep murdering people because they are a known murderer instead of convincing them to stop
they arent trying to improve, they can say whatever they want but facts are facts and they are waaaay too far from a prize that big.
at least they are realizing it
they are realizing it, but after this, are they going to do anything about it? if they don't it'll only make them even worse than they already are if they do they have a lot of shit to work on it's one thing to realize something, and another to truly give a shit and try.
Yeahhhhh
BHAAHAHAHAAHAHAHA Hrm. Be fair to your customers and stop treating your devs like trick talking meat. There's a thought.
And stop killing off franchises after ruining them through milking them out.
Or just pay for some votes.
yeah maybe if you didn't kill the shitty CaC f2p game, fire the team, then open it up again with another team
what rock has this guy been living under
He's been living under the DICE rock, you know, safe haven from EA mistreatment because battlefield sells in massive numbers.
EA's games are shit and their numbers are down thats why they suddenly decided to respond to over a decade's worth of EA's shit slogans...
What's wrong with a company wanting to improve
What's wrong with a company wanting to improve
Its not about 'wanting to improve'. Its about asking to be voted best company in america when your clearly not the best company in america. They haven't even tried to improve before even mentioning they wanted to be voted best company.
EA isn't the worst company in America, there are a lot worse companies that do more evil than a gaming publisher, people are just stupid. Target corporations that use sweatshop workers for cheap labor and that damage the environment for fuck sake
The poll doesn't actually mean shit, but EA takes it seriously any way.
also i have very big penis
to rape you with.
Didn't EA get a new CEO recently? I'd at least be willing to give them a chance, and it's good that they at least realized for themselves that they aren't doing a lot of things very well, and are trying - and willing - to change.
yeah because mocking a company for wanting to better itself is totally the best way to inspire them to actually do it its like telling someone to keep murdering people because they are a known murderer instead of convincing them to stop
It's all PR crap though. They don't actually care, they just want to say anything so they aren't voted the worst company again.
Bullfrog. Westwood. Never forget.
“That response is telling us that gamers don’t want to play the same game every year,” says Söderlund. “And even the games we build on an iterative basis, we have to make sure we keep on innovating or people won’t give us their money.”
It would be cool if they actually lived by this
You wish.
