you have to take into consideration that person's sexual attractions have nothing to do with their mental stability

To be completely honest, I think it does...
We have to deal with the constant hate. And the idea that all pedophiles are child molesters is being spread everywhere. And simply the fact that it is impossible us to pursue our desires [I](without fucking shit up)[/I] also puts a strain on our lives.

What I mean is, even if the condition in itself doesn't have anything to do with the mental stability of the person, the external circumstances does.

There's a reason why homosexuals have a higher suicide rate than heterosexuals, as they too are dealing with (outdated) hatred. I imagine the same is happening for pedophiles. So when you look at it that way, it can say a lot about our mental stability.

And depression can lead to many things. Suicide is one. It just leads me back to my initial thought. What in the hay could possibly have led these people down such a dark path that they ended up doing that shit? In my eyes, they may have just been pedophiles and nothing more, but [I]something[/I] turned them into what they became...
