Seeing human falling into something like THAT alive must be fucking traumatizing.
i think it'd be worse if you didn't see it happen, but walked over to the machine afterwards.
"Hey Hugo let's break for a cigarette!"
looks down into blender
"Hugo, you haven't even cleaned this one yet, what the hell? Haha, this cow looks like he could be your brother!"
blinks
"HUGO NOOOOOOO!"
have you seen how they dump cows into those fine blenders?

Is it bad that I started laughing after a while?
Jesus christ, that's a horrible way to go. Hopefully he didnt suffer for long.
My father is the owner of a construction company. Once at the working place a worker got drunk during work and took a nap inside a metal-concrete matrix. Which was to be used in an hour. And it was.
He just suddenly went missing, it's like you were in a giant glass with liquid boiling metal running down on you, he didn't have time to scream, so they only found out about it when physicists made consistency tests of that metal part.

I have no idea what a metal-concrete matrix is but rest assured that I am thoroughly horrified by your tale.
could you explain what a metal-concrete matrix is?
Sounds like a giant crucible.
Large pieces of machinery have always scared me. I would never get inside them even if they were said to be turned off.
could you explain what a metal-concrete matrix is?
It's where materials- metal and concrete are molded to form one part. Generally used in construction of reinforced walls and such.
what if they accidentally put a little bit of the human meat in with their meat products.

My dad, being a police officer, has seen his share of horrific accidents as well.
One being a rail in a concrete factory breaking and some dude falling into a huge cement mixer.
Perhaps worse, was a guy who committed suicide in a steel factory, and jumped into boiling steel. Due to the consistency, he just crashed into it and floated on top as his skin boiled off.
Also fun one, though not a factory incident, was some lady in a hospital who committed suicide by jumping in the hallway, down the middle of the staircases. She fell at an angle, and one of her arms got stuck on a railing, got ripped off, and when she fell at the bottom, the impact ripped her belly open and the organs fell out when they turned her on her back to identify her.
Good stuff...

Jesus christ how horrifying. I couldn't be a cop or an EMT. I'm too much of a puss.
Oh shit, I feel like puking right now.

Om nom nom nom.
Sounds like a giant crucible.
Well, yeah, more or less
Damn, that's pretty horrible. Reminds me of The Jungle.
"...as for the other men, who worked in tank rooms full of steam, and in some of which there were open vats near the level of the floor, their peculiar trouble was that they fell into the vats; and when they were fished out, there was never enough of them left to be worth exhibiting,--sometimes they would be overlooked for days, till all but the bones of them had gone out to the world as Durham's Pure Leaf Lard!”

I couldn't help but think of the 'Will it blend?' theme song when I read this.

Shit, reminds me of these pictures of an incident were a airplane maintenance worker got shredded alive inside of an engine.
What a terrible way to meat your maker.
Will it blend? That is the question.
These types of situations always terrify me. Also, not a grinder, but in the same realm of industrial workplace safety:

(Skip to 2m40s - the entire video is actually pretty funny, but this one part makes me cringe)
