Also, if Jim Bob McHickins wants to be retarded and turn away paying customers simply because he hates niggers, let him, all he's doing is losing money and profits, he isn't taking away anyone's rights
Entire portions of communities would openly discriminate, in any case they have no right to refuse business to someone for something unreasonable like that. A business cannot discriminate in an open society, period.
whoa whoa whoa, china can fuck with their currency, but if America wants to remove a Zero so they can peg it to gold, not even introducing a new currency, just slashing ONE zero, it suddenly fucks up everything?
do you realize just how much logistical information would have to be changed? Computer programs, financial records, tax statements, millions of bank accounts would have to have their contents changed, all of which probably requires paperwork of it's own. it's not just crossing out the 0 on 10 dollar bills with a sharpie, it requires virtually countless changes in every single sector of american life. China gets to do it because their government is able to use brute force to get things like that done, but the US government has (some) standards of how it operates. it'd be a clusterfuck [editline]24th January 2011[/editline]
No it doesn't, that would create a PR shitstorm, along with the fact compared to what American public Schools serve for launch, Private companies' quality control are about 100 times better considering they aren't using meat that was about to go out to compose and refuse to use half what public schools are willing to take according to that documentary I saw on CNN
maybe public schools wouldn't use poor quality meat if they had proper funding? the solution to "something isn't working properly" is to fix it, not destroy it

People say the cost of changing all the street signs etc would be too great, but its not like its going to get any easier, and it has to happen sometime.

Besides, I was addressing his claim that it couldn't be that hard to just remove a zero from the U.S. currency.
except changing to the gold standard doesn't have to happen sometime. Besides, I was addressing his claim that it couldn't be that hard to just remove a zero from the U.S. currency.
Although im not advocating the gold standard as the only solution, it's pretty obvious that if the government keeps printing money like it is the fiat dollar is not going to survive for alot longer.
ralph what the fuck are you doing you earn a million a year and gives everything except 20,000 dollars for living to charity
funny how being a liberal is often mistaken for being a stuffy elitist cunt tells you something
"You liberals think you're so damn smart with your 'facts,' and 'education.' You aren't like us normal, good Americans who just go by their gut, without consideration of influences outside our beliefs or deep thinking."
He's both He wants to repeal the civil rights act to let businesses discriminate against minorities, he wants to ban abortion and gay marriage, he wants to privatize everything, and he thinks the gold standard is a good idea Pretty much all the bad ideas associated with American conservatism wrapped up in a false "libertarian" flag (not that libertarianism is a good idea either)
are you fucking kidding me do you REALLY think the majority of the US would vote for him if he was all for that?
ralph what the fuck are you doing you earn a million a year and gives everything except 20,000 dollars for living to charity
how is that a bad thing hes not a greedy bag of decaying dragon dildos
how is that a bad thing
no i'm saying him and ron paul, it don't make any sense ralph nader is pretty much better than everyone, he can even claim to be so but he's such a good person he doesn't
I just looked at Ron's shit and I have to say I agree with him fully, well, regarding U.S. foreign policy only. Sorry for the harassment Emperor Scrop, about your support for him.
Entire portions of communities would openly discriminate, in any case they have no right to refuse business to someone for something unreasonable like that. A business cannot discriminate in an open society, period.
Why should he be forced to serve anyone? it's his own private property
except changing to the gold standard doesn't have to happen sometime. Besides, I was addressing his claim that it couldn't be that hard to just remove a zero from the U.S. currency.
It does if inflation and debt go out of control. Which is a very good possibility.
Do you want to be able to trade with the rest of the world or no if you artificially fuck with the value of your currency nobody will want it anymore.
Many countries peg their money to gold or silver to stabilize it. After WW1 the germans had a bit of success with a gold standard currency after the Treaty of Versailles basically sent their inflation through the roof. You shouldn't have a knee jerk reaction to the gold standard. It isn't something we should do willy nilly, but it is a viable option if shit hits the fan.
We do not have a enough gold to support every single dollar that we have in circulation.
Preventing that is actually the point of having it lol
I would be so happy if a third party finally won.
Why should he be forced to serve anyone? it's his own private property
How can a free market function if consumers don't have equal access to goods and services, if an entire community refuses business with them.
I would be so happy if a third party finally won.
I'd actually like the democrats if they weren't a bunch of pussies.
How can a free market function if consumers don't have equal access to goods and services, if an entire community refuses business with them.
should've thought of that before they chose to be black :colbert:
How can a free market function if consumers don't have equal access to goods and services, if an entire community refuses business with them.
they think that those business will fail because they're not doing enough business because people in those areas will care about racism the way ordinary people seem to do, but that's just not going to happen.
are you fucking kidding me do you REALLY think the majority of the US would vote for him if he was all for that?
The only thing I said there that wasn't 100% true was him wanting to ban abortion and gay marriage, and even that's pretty close since he just wants to pass the buck to people who want them banned.
