Playstation NGP price slated; $250 USD - Polidicks

I'll believe it when more official websites announce this.

Only 250? Holy shit, I know what I'm getting next.

Only $250? I'm blown away. I was expected at E3 this year during Sony's annual embarrassing press conference to hear Kaz Harai say "NINEHUNDREDANDNINETYNINEUSDOLLARS" In a way similar to when he said the PS3's retail price. Will be buying this. (WILL be buying if I can use my UMDs)

The catch: All of those UMD games you have are useless.

Well the NGP is now better than the 3DS. The NGP actually improved graphically and as a console too, it's not just a gimmick.

I was expecting a much higher price. This is great news.

Once it gets hacked, I'll pick it up. Still getting the 3DS first.

What wizardry did they pull to make it 250? It has stronger hardware than the 3DS, better battery, touchscreen, etc, etc. Is the 3DS the price it is solely because of the 3d screen?

Sony's really stepping their game up in the handheld market, pricing their latest entry the same as the 3DS. Can't wait to see what 3rd party developers have to offer.

This was the price I expected. Everyone acted like they're fucking idiots. They know what the price point of their PS3 did to sales. They just did the best thing they could have.
