As far as I know they have only ever initiated one lawsuit regarding their religious protesting, and that was because some county was denying them the right to protest in the first place.

I was told, the first I saw them, that the year prior an altercation of this sort arose. The members of WBC specifically have been sued for things like spitting on people and such but no not necessarily full out physical assault. This would be the one church you would rush to defend.
