Mike Flynn offers to testify in exchange for immunity

Flynn probably just has weak ass shit and he's trying to save himself because he's the one the Russians willingly found to be their advocate for a little bit of cash.
So, any bets on the chances of Michael Flynn having a tragic accident/suicide with this latest development?
As Trump's house of cards falls apart more and more, the chances of Putin deciding to act directly to keep Trump propped up only increase proportionally. I mean, we already know Steele's on the Hit-List, and Putin has assassinated his enemies on US soil within this year.
Nah, I reckon even Putin can see a busted flush. He'll be in damage control making sure he can deny the evidence the US prosecution brings against Trump or persons close to Trump.
Killing Flynn just makes it obvious.
On US soil? I'm curious if there are any past examples of this, though I'm sure there are, I don't know where to look
Must've happened during the Cold War. And more recently, Litvinenko's assassination via radioactive poisoning in the UK.
Also.. how is r/the_donald and /pol/ reacting to this? The meltdown must be a thing of glory.

They are probably just spouting fake news as per usual
They are probably just spouting fake news as per usual
Or more then likely just covering it up and banning anyone that posts or talks about it.

/pol/ at least doesn't ban for dissenting opinions, they're just relentlessly mocked. A lot of people on there genuinely or otherwise believe in some kind of conspiracy, so "Flynn might talk" is pretty easily rationalized on that front.

i doubt Putin's dumb enough that his best escape plan is to just murder all the high-profile witnesses and hope things work out. he's probably had a plan in mind for months to quietly secure his own safety and ditch anyone he has to.
Well this is certainly interesting.
Zilla, prepare that hat my friend.
Ah but my friend, it is indeed a ruse.
See, I see trump impeached and chili. Who wins? Me.
Let's just hope something comes out of this. I want to see the Trump regime fall.
Reasoning?
Flynn certainly did some shady shit, such as being payed tens of thousands of dollars to be a consultant for the Russian English-language propaganda network.

but he's far from the only russian connection
Tillerson, Manafort, Sessions, Flynn, I mean the number of potential conflicts here is too much to be swept away, or should be.
It's just that Flynns was one of the most overt and one of the first ones caught, it was definitely the sloppiest connection to uncover, I can't imagine it stops there, even if we never know the official story.
Let us just hope he's backed up or delivered his evidence in case Russia/Trump actually tries to silence him.

His wealth will get him an extra pillow at Leavenworth
Really, though, how much is it going to take to get our desired result of deposing Trump? I still think it's a tiny off-chance, with Republicans in control and vested interests everywhere. This stuff could look bad on Trump but the guy's never going to step down and I just can't see impeachment.

something so bad that the republican party decides that it needs to cut trump off before he drags them all down with him
What if this is all a part of the plan?
Holy fuck, this might just be the beginning of the unraveling of this whole, sick debacle. Lets hope our country's leaders have the guts to carry this out to the finish it deserves.
Because bragging about sexually assaulting women, building a border wall and religious discrimination among a hundred other things weren't enough :v:
That's been the staple of the Republican Party for a long time, nothing new for them.
We don't negotiate with criminals.
We shouldn't negotiate with possible traitors.
Also a witch hunt is baseless and illogical. The investigation into who tampered with an election definitely isn't.
What if this is all a part of the plan?
still going with the 3^64D Go Fish I see, I like your way of thinking

There's no reason we can't work with Flynn here, promise him immunity, and later go after him for something unrelated after he gives his testimony (preferably after Trump and his immediate cohorts have all been dealt with; I agree that Flynn shouldn't just get to walk away in the end after everything that's happened).
If we can't outright throw him in prison, there's still no shortage of alternative ways we could make his life a literal hell. This is politics after all, "the game of possibilities".
That's been the staple of the Republican Party for a long time, nothing new for them.
They actually did cut him loose after the "grab her by the pussy" scandal
They just didn't expect him to win after all that. Damn we're disappointing

So that confims 20commitee is pulling out of his ass.
Before coming to any conclusions, wait for a confirmation from more official sources that it's not real.

what does it all mean
I hope whatever he has to say is in the hands of someone who will reliably act as a failsafe in case his whistleblowing is obstructed.

I wonder if he knew things before he was given his position and is using his climb to the position to fully legitamize and bring attention to what he'll be saying.
