They didn't hack the UAV, they merely converted to Islam, and it switched sides.
Wolololo
Not a very good drone if it got caught then.
Wikipedia says that they apparently hijacked it and landed it. "On 4 December, the Iranian military claimed it intercepted a RQ-170 UAV, which tried to penetrate Iran's airspace through the eastern borders. According to the Fars News Agency, Iranian Electronic Warfare Units managed to take control of the UAV and take custody of it with minor damage ." You would expect them to be pretty secure really.
Holy shit.
Thats just a clever plot to fool everyone into thinking that they are still in the 18th century while they build up their army of hovertanks and laser artillery.
Hovercamels. Be afraid.
My "assumptions" are based off my first-hand experience as a UAV operator
I used to be a UAV operator like you, then I took an arrow to the knee.
I say the United States should have been using it's Cold War strength military to invade any country and break up any leadership that stomps all over human rights, as soon as the Soviets were out of the way. If we were really honest about protecting the people of the world from oppression, we wouldn't have to justify ourselves. We'd be doing the right thing because it's right. Instead we've picked the role of invading any country that's inconvenient to our interests while claiming to be fighting under a righteous banner. In effect, we've established ourselves not as the police of the world, but as the bad cops of the world.
