Family guy hits new low with Domestic Violence Episode

Were it in Southpark or Simpsons nobody here would be calling it "in bad taste"
That's not bad at all, just angry moms. Also what Joe said was pretty funny imo.
I never get who Family Guy is aimed at. I was watching an episode the other day where they did fart jokes for a few minutes, then referenced "Airplane!", then referenced some obscure 80s rock group, then went back to fart jokes.
My best guess is it's aimed at many groups at once and as results misses almost all of them.(or has no real aim and just puts out Macfarlane's somewhat childish sense of humor)
I find some amusing moments in it, and in other times it's just awkward to watch
I enjoyed it
I have seen worse on Family Guy before and no one seemed to give a shit about those episodes.
Family Guy never seems to surprise me.
Or make me laugh.
Yet LMAO pics does?
People need to take a fucking douche and get the sand out of their quivering clams. Seriously people are such fucking pussies today.
"Oh my friend has a friend that x happened to so I'm offended."
Ok, that's nice go be offended somewhere else and man the fuck up, If you cannot stand a comedic sketch on tv then you really need to re-consider climbing out of your mothers womb.
Four of my great uncles died in pearl harbor, When someone says kamakazi you won't see me saying "I'm offended because you said that and it relates to me personally"
In my opinion we need to air something extremely racy and crude then get all the people who complain about it and let them go and create their own little nation of rock sheltered moralistic values. They won't last very long as a country because the people who can stand up to shit are the ones who make their lives in this world possible. Without them their country would be overrun in a day.
I guess what i'm saying in this rant is; Man the fuck up, and learn to deal.
People get offended way too easily.
Drink some goddamn cement
I'm also highly offended by this, that was also in that episode

This is probably the best thing to ever come out of their lack of ideas.
I thought they already did a joke about domestic abuse before
several times.
I liked this episode.
I enjoy Family Guy and its humor. Sure, its often random or repeated, but it makes me laugh, if you don't enjoy this humor, then fuck off and watch Arrested Development or something with more 'sophisticated' humor. If you take a comedy show so seriously, then don't watch it. Its just freakin entertainment.

something being deemed comedy does not excuse it from critical analysis
Family Guy's a good show, I enjoy it, and that is my opinion.
But seriously fuck whomever wrote this moronic article. Domestic violence pales in comparison to the other shit these types of shows make fun of.
Seth can pretty much do what ever the hell he wants with family guy. All he wants is for the show to die, but it wont. Fans keep wanting more and fox keeps renewing him.
So until he is forcefully shut down, hes going to keep putting what ever content he wants on your tv, because he doesn't give a shit anymore.
And I think this is what hes aiming for.

What does LMAO pics have to do with this?
I don't know about you, But i found it funny.
Family Guy has been getting a lot darker ever since the episode where Brian is on shrooms. And watching this episode just made me wonder, why? It's supposed to be scary for Halloween, not scary for real life situations that happen every day. You can look at it one of two ways. Either it's bringing out awareness that this does happen and you shouldn't sit idly by and actually do something about it, or it's poking at the fact that police really can't do anything until it's too late.
And it's true, police cannot interfere with someones relationship simply because they are making a choice to be in that relationship. They can be called and they can investigate, but ultimately if the abused doesn't want anything done about it, then the police can't do anything until it's too late.
It's sad but true. I didn't enjoy this episode, it was way too dark to even try to be a halloween episode. They should have just done something with Stewie making a monster.
What does LMAO pics have to do with this?
Well technically nothing, but you laugh at both
Well.. both are entertainment. And both have some retardation in them I guess.
LMAO pics doesn't have retardation, it has late content and that cat.
Well, at least American Dad is still decent.
LMAO pics doesn't have retardation, it has late content and that cat.
really because I've always found it to be a treasure trove of awful attempts at humor and literally retarded awful posters.
And that's a fact!
Err, I don't get it. I mean I'm not offended by this, it's what Family Guy is supposed to do and should be expected. But I watched the clips and I just don't get the joke or the message it's trying to put across.
"Sorry — police policy is that we can't step in until it's too late."
It's funny because it's true.
Family Guy's Fucked off into the closet years ago.
They either use 1.longer than usual gags to fill time in episodes. 2.Unfunny references.

...
Did you just diss Arrested Development?
You know what, forget this whole Family Guy debate.
I have more important matters to attend to:

I've seen every ep of family guy up to Season 10, And i hate it, Really i do. It's a low-balling, unfunny show, But this is an overreaction, Nobody hates on say, Dara 'O Briain(SP?) or Frankie Boyle for making hilarious jokes about domestic violence, Hell IIRC there was a joke about it in Bottom.
LMAO pics doesn't have retardation, it has late content and that cat.
Yeah and the countless of rage-and-relate MS paint comics, of which some are utterly retarded. Imo anyway. But whatever.
Comedians are supposed to be funny. Seth is not funny, while still being an asshole.
American Dad.
