I'm a very honest person so that's why when I swear, I often go for the word that I feel is the most offensive: nigger. Then I call everyone a nigger. [editline]27th January 2017[/editline] Wouldn't do it on US territory though
Your water also tastes awful. :smug:
Hey man, our water makes the best god damn bagel and pizza dough. Everyone I know who has gone out of the tri-state and had pizza / bagels has complained that shit isn't as good as ours.
The Sopranos was fucking right.
I guess that explains why Glasgow is the stab capitol if swearing means your more honest
Actually Delaware curses more it seems:
New Jersey's profanity rate of 50 was second to Delaware, which totaled a 51. The Garden State's integrity rate of 87 tied Iowa, edging Connecticut, which tallied an 86.
I always figured this was pretty fuckin obvious
As someone who's been friends with a guy from N.J. for several years, I can attest to this. My buddy from N.J. swears at least 3 times a sentence, but he never bullshits you.
I'm from CT, I swear so much that it's just another word in my vocabulary that adds flavor. I don't swear at work unless I'm with coworkers I trust, and I have a bad habit of forgetting not to swear when in a store if there's kids nearby, but all my life my parents and family would swear, then tell me never to swear, so I guess that do as I say not as I do shit doesn't work. All my friends swear, it's just a normal thing here unless you're around seniors or rich uppity assholes. Also I come from an Italian family so the hot blood tends to make swearing more common.
On a side note since moving from Australia to California I've had to make an active effort to cut down on my swearing because it's getting me dirty looks in public. Culture shock. :v:

Can confirm, am from Jersey
Wasn't there some bullshit that said that people who swear are insecure? Seems to directly contradict the study.
Can also confirm, am insecure
people who use curse words are less likely to care what others think and thus more likely to speak the truth, according to researchers.
how do they come to this conclusion? caring less doesn't equate TRUTH; it indicates they speak what's on their mind no matter the substance
FUCKING IS MY FAVORITE WORD REASON WHY I'M FUCKING HEARD [editline]27th January 2017[/editline]
Actually Delaware curses more it seems:
Oh shit I'm from Delaware. I can confirm this
Cunt is more of a Aussie/British thing. In the US we mostly say 'fucker'.
i like the word cunter, its like fucker but you can say you fucking cunter
Wasn't there some bullshit that said that people who swear are insecure? Seems to directly contradict the study.
If that's the case then 90% of people I know including me are insecure, and that's definitely not the case. It is, in your own words, bullshit. [editline]29th January 2017[/editline]
how do they come to this conclusion? caring less doesn't equate TRUTH; it indicates they speak what's on their mind no matter the substance
I want to know where they came to the conclusion that people who curse don't care what others think. If I'm hanging out with my girlfriend and a friend or two we'll fucking shit up my cunting vocabulary all I want, but in church I'll hardly utter a word, let alone a swear one.
Cunt is more of a Aussie/British thing. In the US we mostly say 'fucker'.
I say cunt all the time, but i find 'fucker' hilarious. I also tend to say twat like the British pronunciation, it just sounds better (tw-at as opposed to tw-oht) [editline]29th January 2017[/editline] Do people in the UK ever say 'bitch'? I can't say I've heard it before [editline]29th January 2017[/editline] Also jersey shore represent
