You can put everything like that, oh they were just some people i didn't know that was killed in an airport bombing, w.e.
You are so incredibly ignorant.
You're really comparing the russian airport bombing to a sports team. Really. You really want to go there? Repeat that to yourself, it sounds fucking heartless.
Trust me, he doesn't represent Chicago for normal fan activity. There is at least one Packer-themed bar in Chicago, kinda like we've got a Bears one in Milwaukee, and one of each AFAIK near Minneapolis. The NFC north is mostly bros. People root more for the division than the individual teams, and it's not uncommon to see people support whoever has the strongest showing in a year.
It's just a fucking sports team.
This is Chicago we're talking about. I think it's stupid too, but Chicago is Chicago.
Seems like this boss got his knickers all tied up.
Those who wear the tie of the Packers are in deep Fudge
Hahahaha the best part about facepunch isn't making an offensive post, but that the whole thread is people directing their hate at your post. Jeeze guys it's just a post calm down, no need to get fired up about it :downs:
We already know who is going to win. Steelers; my home team.

If you were being serious, you're not very bright. If you were trying to be light-hearted, you're not very funny.
Fucking packers. Shouldn't have been fired, but fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu. We should all beat the fuck out of Jay Cutler instead.

The guy should have taken off the tie when asked by his boss regardless of if he is doing it for a cause. The boss has choice over what is acceptable for work wear. You can argue that he was doing it for a good cause and it really shouldn't be an issue because it's just tie. Here is a more extreme case: let's say his grandmother died of breast cancer and he got one of those "Save the boobies" shirts and decided to wear it to work. Some could say he was doing it for a good cause and really shouldn't be an issue, but it should be understandable as to why his boss would not allow him to wear the shirt at work.
The boss stated the tie would have been fine on any other day other than Monday, the day he was fired. So, it was acceptable.
Bosses need to learn that they can't just fire people for any reason at all.
Prick.
You can put everything like that, oh they were just some people i didn't know that was killed in an airport bombing, w.e.
god damn you're stupid
It's like wearing Red Wings apparel in Pittsburgh two years ago, you'll get stones thrown at you.
I'm from chicago, if you want to get your ass beaten with a baseball bat then go ahead and wear a cheesehead.
That's really fucking retarded.
You're all vicious, hurting my feelings and such, gee you sure showed me :(
I'm from chicago, if you want to get your ass beaten with a baseball bat then go ahead and wear a cheesehead.
You just jelly.
