sierra mist lmao
seriously MD must be retarded if they thought that actually was a good idea, and people actually "Respected" them enough not to mess with them. also rofl fucking faggots crying over apple jack SPERGS xD!!... Seriously though, are you guys really that twitchy over that? Jesus
soda
why can't i stop imagining them actually producing 'Hitler did nothing wrong' and putting mein fuhrer on the bottle
Genocade
You guys know that "applejack" is a form of apple drink as well as a mlp character, right?
I try not to think about ponies which is easy, and think about someone either getting no apples in their apple flavoured drink, or getting shitty rotten apples that were marinated in periodical blood.
if grannies squirt is the winner i would sell them from retirement homes
They cleaned the list up, number 2 is Applejack. I would have preferred 'HITLER DID NOTHING WRONG'
closet bronies everywhere lmao
The term "closet brony" is a little bit disrespectful. Liking a TV show about ponies is not something that you should actually have to hide. It's offensive to people who have real things to hide: gays in a strict christian household, an atheist in a muslim family, stuff like that. If you like a TV show, you can just talk about a TV show. You don't have to treat it like this big thing that you're doing that everyone should know about. (Although there shouldn't be any reason to hide it in the first place - I don't want to get in to this discussion right now)
sierra mist lmao
I believe "Drink" was also one of the submissions.
I believe "Drink" was also one of the submissions.
Carbonated Water. My best idea yet.
shut up liking a cartoon is not bigger then you want it to be
do you even realize that is exactly what i was saying
shut up liking a cartoon is not bigger then you want it to be
can you read
Slightest mention of mlp? Get over it, it's not that big of a deal.
What about "Green Apple Flavored Carbonated Drink"?
"African Child Sweat" should have been an option. or "Scott Tenorman Tears"
If you get past the mlp character part, Applejack isn't all that bad of a name. Its a highly potent alcoholic drink, while Mountain Dew is actually a slang term for moonshine.
I don't know why you guys are complaining anyway, the name Applejack would never make it because as soon as they even thought about putting the name on the bottle, a thousand fucking lawsuits would fly their way from Hasbro, cereal and alcohol companies alike. It's just text on the internet.

But since Mtn Dew's industry doesn't infringe on anything Hasbro, I don't think they'd care.
lmao hasbro opening a law suit because a drink has the same name as a pony, good show [editline]14th August 2012[/editline] that would be a conflict of interests with their male autist contingent

That is why they were telling people who make plushes to stop advertising their services on sites like DeviantArt.
I want "I MET MITTENS ON CRAIGSLIST" to win. :(
The way the copyright is, they have to smash ALL unauthorized usage, or lose the copyright.
Only when it coincides with how they've classified it. No matter how vague they make it, a food product is not in violation of their copyright. But there is an Applejacks food product, so the name won't go through.
It was their dumb mistake to ask the internet for a name. Now they are obliged to name mountain dew 'Diabeetus'.
It was their dumb mistake to ask the internet for a name. Now they are obliged to name mountain dew 'Diabeetus'.
They aren't obliged to do anything. Last I checked they didn't make it so you could sue them if they pull it down. Most contests in the fine print say something like in any case they can take down the contest for any reason whatsoever.
if you serious reference applejack to my little pony that easy yet you despise mlp you're doing something wrong i'd prefer that name because fucking cereal [editline]sdasd[/editline] seriously i hate bronies as much as the next guy but it's not like I instantly think of mlp when i hear applejack (mostly because if I hate something I don't study the fucking names)
Yes, but when they are goddamned everywhere, and you have that ONE FRIEND that won't shut his mouth about it even though he knows you hate it, it kinda gets branded into your brain and no amount of repeatedly hitting your head on the wall can get rid of it.
jesus christ calm down Who honestly cares if it references an MLP Character or some alcoholic drink If it were to be named Applejack? What's the difference? It's still the same exact mountain dew it just has a different name.
Why do companies ask the Internet for things? It's never ever worked out.
Why do companies ask the Internet for things? It's never ever worked out.
To generate publicity. Whatever the name of this turns out to be, if it's actually what is on the list, people will buy it just for name.
To generate publicity. Whatever the name of this turns out to be, if it's actually what is on the list, people will buy it just for name.
Plus tons of people are now aware the Mountain Dew is launching a new flavor who might otherwise be oblivious to the fact. It generates buzz, gets people talking, gets people participating...I'm pretty sure these ad campaigns are obscenely successful. Companies wouldn't continually go through with it if it wasn't.
