I would love to hear more about your perspective on the cops performance in this video...all I saw was two people with a hard job made harder by people who actually fucking SUCK at thinking for themselves for five fucking minutes.
Had a brainfart and typed cop instead of woman.
I remember that the Police Department he works at commended him and said they received thousands of emails of support.
Go ahead and rename it then

That's pointlessly harsh.
God damn, this forum is like Saudi Arabia.
This ban reason have been around for ages and is used as a warning to make people learn. Mods shouldn't have to correct things unless they are explicitly asked to do so.
Besides, this is nothing compared to a few years back where you could get permabanned for even less.

The cameraman is pretty stupid though, wonder what hole he crawled out of
Give this man a badge for the Special AWESOME Unit.
This is the most reasonable reaction I've seen from a cop being filmed while arresting someone and being accused of brutality, that man's got saintly levels of patience both for the crazy lady being arrested and the judgmental prick with the camera, and he's fully willing to give a nice proper explanation for the reasons behind his course of actions.
You hear a lot of negative stories about law enforcement, I'm glad a video like this could surface to show more people the positive side, the respectful and honest cops that work to make people feel safe.
Reminds me of this video posted in the video section a while ago. If the people in OP's video pissed you off I would recommend meditating before this one
It's nice to see some good news involving cops for once. It's way too often that you see news about corrupt cops doing shit or getting off with no punishment, or good cops being hurt or something.
(Although, to be fair, I am fully aware of the whole "the news doesn't report normal things happening" effect)
It would not surprise me if the cameraman was an accomplice.
Edit:
...what does that mean?
The best I could guess is "YouTube Thread". But is that right?
what does it mean
undescriptive thread title
Honestly, most of the cops I've had to deal with in Ontario (A surprising amount) have been quite professional and nice. There's a real divide between how they act here and in the States, as far as my own experience is concerned.

Cameraman told in description he had three sons who were there. Knowing they probably did have cannabis on him he started being a bitch so that they wouldn't get caught.
10/10 would say disgraceful fuck again.
They even had a female cop on site to deal with the female suspect. That's even more appropriate handling.
And do these people realize that all officers have been tazed, cuffed, sprayed and handled the way the suspects have been handled?
I get that being arrested is stressful and gets the adrenaline going but she's still a fucking idiot for trying to resist. If a policeman tells you multiple times in a raised voice to STOP RESISTING, you better stop fucking resisting.
I've found a great deal of respect for police officers recently thanks to these videos of the kinds of assholes they have to put up with.
"Maybe if I argue with the cops arresting her she'll have sex with me"
WHy wouldn't you even let the guy explain
God, did that hit my nerves. Every time the cop was trying to explain something, some prick had to stop him
Fuck people with that 'FUCK DA POLIEC' attitude, not all cops are corrupt assholes who enjoy beating up black people
"Maybe if I argue with the cops arresting her she'll have sex with me"
Where are you getting that from
I would make a shit cop, I'd have CS sprayed the woman within 30 seconds.
There's tons of these videos on YouTube, and the cameraman will almost always have a permanent sneer.
Honestly I'm surprised the cop was as gentle as he was. From a few of my friends I know the standard procedure in a case where a person is resisting arrest like that is to pretty much manhandle them with as much force as is needed to subdue them.
Because the longer an arrest takes place, the likelyhood of you getting injured increases and you never know if the person in question has a knife, sharp edge or anything which they might pullout from somewhere.
In part the people that swarm the cops afterwards are one of the reasons why a lot of cops seem to be dicks as well. You can respond calmly to situations like this only so often, the more often they happen, the more callous you become.
"just let her go, shes a girl, that means shes weak!"
hahaha what a massive sexist shitlord.
so like, if someone broke into the camera-man's house, who happened to be female, and started stealing his possessions would he still be inclined to "just let her go" when the police showed up?
Ha, of course Canadian cops are polite. In the US, they'd smash the guy's phone on the ground, then break his nose and maybe add some pepper spray for good measure.
They'd blast him for having a GLOCK-47 tactical assault camera with shoulder-clips.
"You know she is a girl"
haha what is he doing, going whiteknight mode?

i wonder if he realized that other arresting officer was also a woman

Woman weak Man strong
tiny woman need man help
ug ug
"So what happens if she broke her arm, or she broke her everything?"
Best question ever.
i wonder if he realized that other arresting officer was also a woman
Because his tiny chauvinist brain can't fathom the idea of a strong woman who could probably snap him in half like a twig so his brain probably assumed she was a man in disguise.

I'm reminded of a clip I saw on one of those cop TV shows.
Someone was accused of ripping the door of a taxi outside a nightclub, and one of the police officers who arrived was a woman. He started getting pissy, so she restrained him against a wall in full of view of the people queuing to get in. They started shouting shit like "You're gettin beat up by a girl!", which prompted him to keep fighting her, and keep getting his ass kicked.
