You do realise that says speed limits are useless because americans are too dumb to follow them, right?
wrong study i was linking, i snipped it but you quoted it just in time
I'm from the Isle of Man :D
rip
i blame the judges who go easy on teens who have the money to fight the tickets.....
i know a guy who's grampa is filthy rich, hires a lawyer to fight his tickets, he wrecked 6 cars in one year, got tickets of 100+ mph and he still has his license..., is that a failure of the system? yes, is it right? no, should he be forced to drive a scooter for the next 10 years? yes
Doesn't the Isle of Man lack speed limits?
Isn't the Isle of Man famous for high-speed traffic collisions?
but it also has far fewer low-speed collisions
but it also has far fewer low-speed collisions
if everyone goes fast people crash when going slow less often
therefore it's safer!!
I actually wouldn't mind this too much.
Wait, you mean speed limits actually matter? Everyone around here treats them less like laws and more like friendly suggestions.
People will drive the speed they are comfortable with, I don't see an issue with raising speed limits, or putting limits depending on weight of the vehicle instead
Everybody is taking a joke advertisement seriously. Why?
You do realise that says speed limits are useless because americans are too dumb to follow them, right?
Nothing says fact like broad sweeping generalizations.
Everybody is taking a joke advertisement seriously. Why?
Yeah I don't get it either.
It's okay to advertise violent shooters with lots of murder.
But oh God, they are advertising a racing care game with funny statistics poking fun at the dangers of driving fast. We need to sit down and discuss how they thread so lightly on something so serious, shame on them.
Everybody is taking a joke advertisement seriously. Why?
They just want an excuse to bitch about EA
Nothing says fact like broad sweeping generalizations.
Read the source, that's basically what it says.
Read the source, that's basically what it says.
I did, I don't see where it says Americans are to dumb to follow speed limits though. It's supposed to be a joke advertisement by EA, so I don't know how you drew that conclusion.
americans cant even safely operate cars at the current limit but nice try at some cringe-fake viral marketing for a new need for speed game that is as boring and redundant as the last 20

It's a joke Isuzu, did you even read the source?

What in the world makes you think they are trying to be taken seriously by saying that making speed bumps into ramps will create 435,000 new jobs?

oh wow lol I wasn't aware America was the only place in the world to have auto accidents
No one can take a joke anymore.
No one can take a joke anymore.
some people are bred to bitch
these same people are significantly less likely to carry their horrible tendencies down a hereditary line though so don't worry
No one can take a joke anymore.
It's not funny because EA made it.
Evil corporate Hitler, forcing me to buy hundreds of DLC, making bad generic shooter games and making me install spyware programs!!!! EA is literally the worst thing to happen to videogames and they're greedy and evil! RIP westwood.
Are there any extreme valve fanboys that have taken this seriously yet
I wanna see EA abolishing the Gun Control Law for the new Medal Of Honor.
This would be a dream come true. I wouldn't even want to know my fuel costs if this took effect...

Dear god yes.

Yeah, and an additional 10000k jobs for hospitals to pick up billions of injured drivers and construction of hospitals because there are so many injured drivers.
Why?
They forgot to talk about seatbelt safety.
Why the fuck would you do that?
Publicity stunt.
- Actually nevermind. Makes sense after re-reading. -
