Hilarious choice for a replacement enemy.
It's on now, ya hosers.
Well at least it's properly original. Russia invading: Done so many times it's not funny. China invading: Same as above. Nazis or old empires: At least 10 times Heck we've even had the EU invade the US, twice. Canada and Austrailia are pretty much the only ones that have never invaded the US (well and Mexico).

put some syrup on that wound eh
"A certain country to the North", to Japanese people, still refers to North Korea guys They don't mean to the north of the US, Kotaku is completely misinterpreting this. Their source article doesn't even mention Canada once
Why Canada? Canada is innocent, it never does anything bad :saddowns:
Hahaha oh man
:canada:
I don't really know what to think aboot this.
But how would it work? Canada's forces are weak. We could nuke them off the planet if we felt like it [editline]5th February 2011[/editline] Atleast they wont do mean stuff to us like NK wanted to!
well you couldn't, you see the fallout would come down into the states... NATO and SCO would cave in on the united states and crush them to pieces as they were the first to launch nukes. If you're going to criticize Canadian forces, look at North Koreas poverty forces.
The article doesn't even say anything about changing the country, only calling it "A Certain Country to the North." And replacing Kim-jong-Il with "Northern Leader."
If you are in Japan, "a certain country to the north" is still North Korea. Sounds like they aren't changing much other than making the aggressor vague. :ninja:
No no no, they're not thinking North enough. Not Canada. Not North Korea. Not Russia. Santaland. It would make the name "Homefront" make more sense. The corruption of Santa would bring down America's glorious capitalism. What else would people buy during the entire month of December? Not to mention about 5% of the movie industry is dedicated to Santa movies. Plus, the corruption of Santa would also lead to a lack of belief in Jesus, leading to secularism in the great Christian Nation. Also, reindeer-copters and armored polar bear cavalry. It's perfect.
Santa lives in Finland, so doesn't really work. Why the fuck would they do it?
Well shit I would much rather have this version, it sounds hilarious
Me too, I can already imagine the attack mission on that armybase. "HEY! WE GOT'CHA INTRUDERS 'N' YAHNKHEES IN'THER BAESS"
Those Canadians and there warmongering.
Me too, I can already imagine the attack mission on that armybase. "HEY! WE GOT'CHA INTRUDERS 'N' YAHNKHEES IN'THER BAESS"
What? You're quote does not have proper grammar so I cannot read it... I cant. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline]
Those Canadians and there warmongering.
Herpderp 1812, vietnam, iraq, afghanistan, must I mention more?
what games
I remember it being some game where the America falls into civil war after terrorist attack during presidential elections or something. Russia, China, EU, South America, etc, etc comes running "peacemaking operations"
But how would it work? Canada's forces are weak. We could nuke them off the planet if we felt like it
Weak no, undermanned yes. Though the this idea is hilarious :v:
"A certain country to the North", to Japanese people, still refers to North Korea guys They don't mean to the north of the US, Kotaku is completely misinterpreting this. Their source article doesn't even mention Canada once
The setting is still in the United States. Just because the game is sold to Japanese people doesn't mean the setting automatically changes to Japan. And what is considered a northern country to the game's setting? Oh right, Canada. [editline]5th February 2011[/editline]
we kicked your ass once
Yes I agree. Those British regulars stationed in Canada really kicked our ass with that draw. Your militia didn't do shit. http://www.cdnmilitary.ca/index.php?p=19
