Whew! Dodged a grenade there. [editline]09:23AM[/editline]
Aw crap. "Iran Denies Reports of Attack on Ahmadinejad" http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08/05/world/middleeast/05iran.html?_r=2
Or not
Hitler wasn't assissinated, he killed himself.
He said ALMOST. Operation Valkyrie was when a bunch of leading Nazi officers attempted to assassinate Hitler. They failed. Hence the ALMOST.
Thank god he survived. If he had been assinated, everything would've gone to hell. Maintaining the status quo is important, it's the only way to have some form of stability in thay region. Remember how fucknuts the US went after some Arabs flew planes into a building. Now imagine if those Arabs had killed the president instead. Now imagine what would happen if it had been the other way around. It could very well have started a nuclear war, or something. Thank god it was just a vandal with some leftover firecrackers.
iran doesn't have nuclear weapons. the only countries in the middle east that do are pakistan and israel (before anyone says it, india is nuclear armed, but i didn't include them because they're not in middle east). as for nuclear war, no nuclear power is dumb enough to start one (right now). north korea likes to throw around the threat of one whenever the u.s. sanctions them or whenever the u.s. and south korea hold joint military exercises, but so far they've just been bluffing. israel isn't going to nuke iran (hopefully, although i read somewhere that they drew up first strike plans that involved tactical nukes a while back [citation needed]) but if they feel iran is getting threateningly close to manufacturing a nuclear bomb, tehran will probably meet the same fate that osirak and syria's nuclear reactor did which would set off a whole other mess of shit.
Go look up communism. America. Communists did a lot in that area. Ive even seen a cartoon of Uncle sam fighting Castro and 2 others. forget who they were. [editline]07:55AM[/editline] XD "Shove it your ass"
You're basing your opinion of Communism on political cartoons? Communism has never done anything to America directly. The Cold War was basically America and the USSR trying to scare each other shitless, but Communists never actually did anything to the USA. The USA, however, frequently attempts to usurp Communism because it is ideologically opposed to it. Cuba fell victim to an American trade embargo which is why you always see classic cars in Cuba - they haven't been able to import new cars since the 50s. It's illegal for American citizens to go to Cuba and spend money there and thanks to trade restrictions lots of medical supplies such as soap (yes, medical soap) can't reach the island meaning there have been lots of outbreaks of disease. A lot of people completely disregard the fact that Castro has managed, for example, to raise literacy from about 50% into the high nineties. Castro did this with the help of volunteers (some still in Secondary School), who went up into the rural villages to teach children how to read. However, since this meant Castro gained support the counter revolutionaries (supported by the CIA) attacked the volunteers and killed one. America is a great country in many ways, but when it comes to Communism it's done a lot of really shitty things. I don't see how you can justify it when Communism hasn't actually done anything to America. If in doubt:
Had he died, it would be a much more fucked up situation.
Had he died, it would be a much more fucked up situation.
That doesn't matter. FP is full of blood thirsty teens who would love to see any form of violence.
False flag operations anyone?
That doesn't matter. FP is full of blood thirsty teens who would love to see any form of violence.
Yeah, especially when they see that it's big bad terrorist Iran's president, and then they say stuff like, 'Well shit I wish he died'. When in reality they are just fuck-wits. (Yeah I'm looking at you, first few posts.)
Yeah, especially when they see that it's big bad terrorist Iran's president, and then they say stuff like, 'Well shit I wish he died'. When in reality they are just fuck-wits. (Yeah I'm looking at you, first few posts.)
Errr, Iran's president deserves to die.
Errr, Iran's president deserves to die.
Explain why. I'm betting 85% of his explaination is going to be te same pure bullshit the U.S Media loops. Go on. [editline]06:35PM[/editline] 90% actually.
It wasn't a Hand Grenade it was a fire cracker. bad source. http://www.newser.com/article/d9hco3500/explosion-near-iran-presidents-convoy-just-firecracker-not-a-grenade-says-state-news.html http://www.kbsradio.ca/news/56/1182338
Explain why.
Certainly. He has ruined Iran's economy and does not use the state's oil income for its people (nobody knows where that money went). He is a (islamo-)fascist, his "islamic" theocracy goes too far even for most Muslims. He silences the opposition and supresses/kills intellectuals. My sources? Iranians. I've been to Iran 2 years ago with a friend of mine whose father had to leave the country 20 years ago. When we spoke with the locals (many of them students) most of them told us that Ahmasomething should die asap.
they planned to attack a presidential convoy with 1 grenade? :v:
they planned to attack a presidential convoy with 1 grenade? :v:
I'm quite positive a grenade can make a car explode...
Hitler wasn't assissinated, he killed himself.
i'm pretty sure there were multiple attempts to assassinate him [editline]10:49AM[/editline]
I'm quite positive a grenade can make a car explode...
it's a presidential convoy, most likely i'd assume with multiple cars and armed guards

But meh, opinions are opinions. [editline]11:58AM[/editline]
I stopped reading your shit post when you said political cartoon. Good thing it was a failed attempt, even though Ahmadinejad is a complete prick; he's the only one maintaining stability in his country.
What's so bad about Communism?
The way it ends up working out in a country.
Good thing it was a failed attempt, even though Ahmadinejad is a complete prick; he's the only one maintaining stability in his country.
Stability through oppression.
Stability through oppression.
Stability none the less.
Stability none the less.
Sacrificing anything for the sake of "stability" has fucked up so many things in the past. It's usually not worth it.
well then.
I see where you are going with this. And god bless the editor for his Measuring skills.
Certainly. He has ruined Iran's economy and does not use the state's oil income for its people (nobody knows where that money went). I'm asking for a real legit reason why he should die not some unsourced allegations.
I stopped reading your shit post when you said political cartoon. Get out.
I shan't be dwelling any more on Communism because it derails the thread and clearly you don't want to actually know the facts before making a judgement. Nevertheless, the video's relevant to Iran. The UK got fed up with its lack of control over Iranian oil and since we were in no state to fight after WWII, Churchill asked the USA to help us out. Churchill said to the President that Mossadeq (the Prime Minister of Iran at the time) was a no good Commie, so the US made the Shah (a king, basically - he'd lost most of his power and now the Government did everything) sign a decree denouncing him and then made a bunch of fake protests to cement the issue. Eventually, the Shah was installed as a dictator by the US where he and his Government sold off oil in return for a hefty gift of money. Many Iranians did not like this one bit, seeing the Shah as a pro-Western puppet, so eventually the 1979 Iranian uprising took place and they ended up with this lot. [editline]07:16PM[/editline]
Sacrificing anything for the sake of "stability" has fucked up so many things in the past. It's usually not worth it.
Then again, look at President Kagame in Rwanda. He's done some terrible things, locking people away for the crime of "Divisionism" (aka opposing the Government) and halting Freedom of the Presses but on the other hand he's pretty much the only reason there isn't still a genocide going on in Rwanda and why it's actually turning into an African country with a proper economy and healthcare and all. One part of me would like the despot to be deposed, the other part of me wants him to stay in power so Rwanda eventually gets a happy ending (hopefully). I don't have as much of a strong pro-Ahmadinejad feeling since the Iranians can look after themselves (they're not divided into two ethnic groups who are REALLY PISSED OFF with each other and still want to get back to the Genocide game) but the country could easily plummet into chaos without him and it would be bloody.
I'm asking for a real legit reason why he should die not some unsourced allegations.
Because he is a tyrant. And I'm sure that even you will agree with me on that.
Because he is a tyrant. And I'm sure that even you will agree with me on that.
No, actually I wont agree. Quit making baseless claims and actually make a valid claim. [editline]09:35PM[/editline] It shouldn't be that hard.
No, actually I wont agree. Quit making baseless claims and actually make a valid claim.
OK, so he did not fuck up Iran's economy, he did not establish a police state and he is not a radical anti-semite?
OK, so he did not fuck up Iran's economy, he did not establish a police state and he is not a radical anti-semite?
Nope, you aren't even providing a solid argument.
