Didn't even last a full day, so lmao
Don't try to make light of the fact you spent money on an internet argument you barely even read. :v:
What makes you think I didn't read most of it?
$5 spent on harassing someone.
I don't see you rushing to defend JWJ against the people who bought him paedophile titles, and he hasn't been convicted or confessed yet. Breakyourfac confessed in the OP...

Yeah he confessed upfront that he fucked up, what a terrible person. I better rub it in his face!
You don't strike me as a good person to be around.

Actually his wording was he'd probably do it again, not that he'd fucked up.
Read closer:
Too bad my states supreme court has ruled that you can drive while stoned as long as you aren't smoking while driving. You are insinuating that I will die if I ever drive high again. That's a pretty bold statement
Yeah I don't read that at all. You're a miserable person who jumps at conclusions and wastes money to make yourself feel better.
What makes you think I didn't read most of it?

The fact that the title you gave him was wrong.
you know what
im glad he didnt actually step in
no disrespect but youre more apt to making the situation even worse if youre trying to help out while impaired
especially if you dont have any serious medical training
I'm a little disappointed in that OP was driving under an influence, but this argument got way out of hand. OP feels bad about it too, so why not let it go? He'll probably even learn a lesson after this, but since you guys felt 'obligated' to post on his wall and insult him and degrade him, is disheartening.
The fact that the title you gave him was wrong.
He was DUI, which statistically has a higher chance of being responsible for a collision.
=> He could have killed his friend's uncle, or any other person on the road for that matter.
=> He could have killed his friend's uncle
No he couldn't have.
Oh my god, the girl who was with me just texted me. That was her cousins dad, wow I am speechless.
That little difference matters because you spent money on it.
No he couldn't have.
Do you not understand hypothetical situations?
He was DUI, which statistically has a higher chance of being responsible for a collision.

its hilarious that you keep going on about the moral error of driving high when you keep giving him shit about it after the fact that he witnessed someone die horribly
im a nurse and from the looks of things, theres nothing I could have done if I were in his situation, sober or not, and I have the benefit of being trained to fucking know what to do. He called 911, that was about all he COULD do.
let me ask you this, though: have you ever watched someone die violently? in all actuality. were you ever present for the violent death of another human being?
if not, you could not even begin to understand what it feels like. believe me, I know. youre just being a piece of shit with a hilariously black and white view of morality focusing on something that he did wrong because it COULD HAVE been a factor in this event, but wasnt.
in short, fuck off you stupid brat
So no matter what the situation, we're just supposed to call 000 and speed off.
What stupid advice.
It's my fucking job I think I know more about this than you do.
This kind of thing makes the news in the US? This happens almost daily in Northern Ontario, and while it is tragic, it's not really newsworthy of anything other than a mention in the local paper.
OP has also been grilled enough, and from what he described, the guy was as good as dead as soon as he left the road, there's nothing he could have done if he'd stopped other than scar himself for life even farther by looking at a mangled body.
Do you not understand hypothetical situations?
You weren't talking about a hypothetical situation. Its obvious to me you simply misread (or forgot) the fine details before you spent your money (and then clumsily inserted yourself into the conversation to make it seem like you had anything to do with it in the first place).
It just slaps me on my knee.
I'm done with this thread.
Because you aren't an EMT, just a nurse, and you seem to lack common sense. There's plenty he could have done.
I am an EMT, I am telling you otherwise, it's not Itachi lacking common sense here.
Also "male nurse" really?
Because you aren't an EMT, just a male nurse, and you seem to lack common sense. There's plenty he could have done.
oh? like what? superman lift the heavy mangled chunk of metal up? drag the guy out while holding the car up somehow, risking mangling him further even IF he was still alive?
There was nothing at all he could have done besides notify the ems until the emts got there and at that point he just would have been in the way

its a pretty clear sign that someone has no understanding whatsoever of the medical field when they think that a nurse is just a cna who passes out meds sometimes lmao
Because you aren't an EMT, just a male nurse, and you seem to lack common sense. There's plenty he could have done.
And the op isn't an EMT either.
i swear everyone who's argued he should have done something in this thread believes that all humans are trained from birth to have amazing emergency medical response training from birth since we were all raised as nurses/doctors from birth right
op couldn't even do cpr and help, he literally only had one choice. situations like that require professionals, i don't think an emt would really know what to do let alone op
I'm done with this thread.
good leave the discussion to people who actually know what the hell they're talking about
Dear god all this fucking fighting over all this bullshit is just hiding the REAL question that everyone in this thread doesnt seem to notice.
[sp]is the deer ok?[/sp]
Im sorry to break this to you guys but driving high isn't anything at all or even remotely close to driving while drunk.
While I agree, it's still a stupid thing to do.
As a training EMT, let me say this:
He was most likely dead on impact. It obviously doesn't go into specifics. He could have been as soon as he went off the road. He might of had a neck fracture, blunt trauma that caused severe bleeding. We don't know, we can't make hypotheticals here. While the point making on breakyourfac' part may have been lacking, the odds of him being able to give any sort of life saving help would be below 1%. Under 10% of people's whose hearts go into complete cardiac standstill due to trauma make it to the hospital, let alone be able to leave the hospital, and that's professionals.

Ironically looks like karma already bit you in the ass.

Like shit, you seriously deserve it. Driving under the influence of anything that impairs judgement if even slightly is dumb as fuck. Friends of mine have died because of people like you.
What the fuck?
I feel like i'm back in middle-school watching kids pass hateful notes to the kid who always gets picked on.
Itachi is right, a lot of you are acting like a bunch of sheltered brats.
So OP how was the graduation party?
We didn't even make it to the party.
But, but.... HE COULD'VE BEEN LIKE THOSE GUYS FROM CALLODOODY ITS SOOOOO EASY TO SAVE LIVES, I SAVED A MILLION YESTERDAY IN FRONT OF MY TV WITH MY XBOX!!!!!

This is only the latest example but I feel like this should be said because very few people on Facepunch seem to know how to construct a proper argument/debate: Once you've resorted to insults, you've already lost the argument.
Let's try and treat each other with some civility and rational understanding here, shall we?
Thank you to those who have bought my title back. Although that frenchmans hilarious summary of the thread was funny. Also DUI =\= OUI and in my state I can legally smoke and drive as long as I wait and hour or so, which I normally do. Also to the guy who was shocked I was simply driving with alcohol and weed in my car, how else am I suppose to get my supplies there?
