I have every single damn Beatles album on CD. I just rip them into FLAC, stick 'em on my music player and rock the hell out. I LOVE CDs. I stopped using iTunes a long time ago.

Nobody cares.
Besides, if you have one of the awful loud remasters then they'll probably sound worse than some of the other versions.

Nobody cares? Since when can you speak on the behalf of all the facepunch users?
And if you think those remasters were awful, you must have hearing problems.

I've compared a lot of the remasters.
What the newer ones have done, is just made everything sharper and louder. Loud doesn't mean good and in my honest opinion, they've made the music dull to hear with headphones.
And don't get me started on the crap stereo production of the albums from Sgt. Pepper and back.

listening to The Beatles on anything other than vinyl is a crime against humanity
Seriously, don't waste your money on itunes. Get a good copy off ebay or discogs. They'll be cheaper and easily resell-able if you want to copy them and give away.

I've listened to both the remasters and vinyl versions and I love both. though I love LPs for the sheer nostalgia value

This caused me actual physical pain.
I love The Beatles but I probably won't be buying this, I own every Beatles CD out there so it is kind of pointless for me.
Best night of my life was when I got to see Paul McCartney live, probably one of the best concerts I have ever been to.
