Make it easier to change sure, but it's not necessary to change it to "Sex at birth". Doing so is extremely unnecessary as when you have a 99.7 percent rate of it being also the persons sex until they're dead, you're changing shit to change shit.
And then people like you throw a tantrum to throw a tantrum

I don't think there's a way to change your entire physiology. At least, not yet anyway. And .3 percent of however many billions of people there are on the planet isn't an insignificant number of people. If it doesn't hinder the other 99.7 percent and has a tangible benefit I see absolutely no reason why it shouldn't be changed.
...special snowflake slacktivists...

...how could you be offended by that...

...crazy left wing...

...the state of trans-gender activism...

...this movement... unreasonable minority...
it seems to me that you dislike this not because you sat down and did a cost-benefit analysis of the move but because you associate it with some social movement. because uh, i don't know if you noticed, but not every transgender person is a third-wave feminist. like barring any judgments on the content of the OP itself, let's be honest with ourselves: far fewer people would really care or have a hard-line opinion on this issue if it weren't for the fact that it's linked to the internet's favorite shitfest. this goes for supporters and detractors.
We gotta conform to the wishes of the .3 percent of people who aren't Cis it seems.
sorry but that's just a stupid argument.
We gotta conform to the wishes of the .2 percent of people who are jews it seems.
barring the obvious connotations of marginalizing the "wishes" of a group merely because they aren't in the majority, human rights isn't some zero-sum game and it's not like you're forced to bow at trans people's feet because a canadian tribunal made a decision about ink on paper issued at the time someone pops out of someone else's vag.
