75% humidity in my area apparently
[editline]14th September 2016[/editline]
With a nice 85% to start the day.
Fuck how do you people live in such a frozen wasteland??
Earth average temperature is about 14C
It's been 23-25 degrees here for the past few days and I can't wait for it to below 20 again.
I think it may be a while before that hits cornwall considering this happened on my street today.

Well, I understand you brits how you must feel.
This year we had a fucked up weather. For 5-6 months straight it was 0 to 10 degrees the whole day. And now these weeks it has been 15-20. When it hits 20 I'm starting to sweat.
And oh fuck me, because in the upcoming months we'll be hitting 30-35....and then comes december and january....hell itself (40 C).
Bonus points: Blackouts so no fan or AC for days.
So if you want to depussify your body and train your mind to overcome the climate change, you are welcome to try Argentina.

That looks like Falmouth :v:
I live in Plymouth which is on the border of Cornwall, and I'm getting a nice mix of heavy rain and 22c heat..
Wow, I normally hate these "well where I live, it's X degrees" comparisons, but holy shit you guys are concerned over 20c (68f) to 30c (88f)? I worked as a lifeguard in ~40c (104f) almost every day this past summer. In fact, my air conditioning is set to 68f right now and I'm cold
You must not hate it that bad
Yep, most people aren't used to these temps at all, most buildings don't have AC, and the majority of houses are heavily insulated against the shitty weather we usually get, meaning being indoors can somehow feel hotter than standing outside.
S'fun.
Insulation is good, provided you don't let the house heat up in the first place (open doors).
I have an uninsulated garage. During the Florida summer, it heats up well past 30 Celsius by midday. If my A/C is offline, the rest of the house only approaches that temperature by sunset after being heated all day long.
Does the hot weather just instantly die off when it hits the midlands? Its like 23c here in north west and it really isnt a hratwave at all. Yesterday wasnt either.
This thread turned out exactly as predicted.
Ah ha! That's where our summer went, the Brits stole it! The bastards, they're still sore over our rebellion. Jasus!
... seriously though, we've had shite weather over the summer. We could do with a bit of that weather now, 'tis only fair.

It IS falmouth well done on spotting that. It was pretty chilly yesterday however, maybe its because Its literally by the sea and the sea breeze helps.
