American Family Association: HIV Doesn’t Cause AIDS, Drugs and Sex Do

Objectively speaking, drugs and sex can in the end cause you AIDS.
If you only do one of those things do you get half-AIDS

Where are my thousands of sexual partners?
I'm still waiting.

when you go so fast it's hard to count!
Oh, OK. I'm glad the medical experts on the topic cleared that up.
Oh jesus.....I'm sick of hearing about ignorant people like this. What good is making progress when people like this convince MORE people that everything we've learned is all lies. Damnit....what do you do with people like this?
HIV doesn't lead to AIDS, but sex does? isn't that a contradiction?
The stupid!
unless you use weed needles!
though seriously it is possible to overdose, just not smoking or vaporizing cannabis
that's would be a lot of pills though
Yeah but that's synthetic THC and therefore... Well, I assume you'd know where I'm going with this, because I don't.
I don't doubt though that if you baked pot brownies like you've never baked them before and downed a shitload of them in one go you might reach a harmful dose of THC with much more ease.
Umm, why should I care what some backwards moron out in Tupelo, Mississippi has to say?:
Ordinarily in the case of just any backwards moron in Mississippi, you'd be right, but the American Family Association unfortunately has a noticeable influence on politics and policy making in this country. Has a great deal of resources and such too to promote these views among various Christian-based initiatives. The fact that we have folk like this as 'kingmakers' in certain political circles is sad.
Didn't the GOP presidential Candidates all sign a contract or a pledge written by these folks? or was that another organization?
That was the so-called "Marriage Vow", which was created by a similar organization based in Iowa called "The Family Leader", which has some national ties to a larger organization, "Focus on the Family" (a similar group to the AFA... their most notable contribution is they were one of the major funders of a new religious-based children cartoon network "Jellytelly", made by the guy that did Veggietales). Not all GOP people signed the contract because aside from the publicized contents of the stance against same-sex marriage, there was also some unsavory portions implying African Americans were better off under slavery than they are now.
