I'm not sure if you are Catholic, but I am. We don't worship the Pope, we simply see him as the head of our bureaucracy, but we try to spice up the title a bit more by calling it "The Messenger to God". Common Misconception.

The point in the end is that we do not "worship" him. He holds a position of a priest only on a much, much larger scale. But in basic form he is both, he heads the bureaucracy that holds the church together and is sacred. But in basis, I was right in both statements as they don't clearly contradict eachother.

So when the pope says that evolution is a valid theory in contradiction to the story put forth in the bible, you don't listen? And why don't you believe those few statements in the bible that you disagree with when you just said that it's the only connection to the wants and needs of the holy trinity that you have?
