Star Citizen is not going to be about massive player interaction. Its basically Freelancer Online.

My god, a large-scale war like this makes Planetside 2's battles look pity. Honestly what are the pros of playing EVE? Thinking about getting a new computer, this news just earned itself a new member.

I figured out how to transport the clone and upgrade its skill point limit but how do I update it with my skills?

Oh boy more TEST warping in... this is gonna be awhile.
"Update, 7:30PM ET: As the battle approaches its fourth hour, the TEST Alliance is in retreat. Reports from various pilots indicate that TEST leadership has backed down on plans to send in reinforcements, which should allow CFC to hunt down and kill the remainder of the TEST fleet." [editline]28th July 2013[/editline] "Update, 7:46PM ET: An Eve Online developer has confirmed that today's battle was the largest in the game's history."
you become a cold heartless monster who lives only to manipulate people to your own ends
Perfect, soon once I'll get this game. I'll become a god above all that shall vanish the mighty empires who prey on the weak. I'll create an army of people who dedicate their life and show loyalty only to me. I'll create a broker and know all knowledge of ships/planets/etc and sell them to all new players. Blueprints will be found by my organization and soon kept away from the empires that seek them to destroy others. I will face the largest group in EVE ever and fight them off with my largest ships built. Hear me for I am Doomevil, the man who will conquer this new game I've found.
I'm waiting for the battle-report

Does reddit ever win anything? I will always remember the rag-tag team /v/ assembled in 30 minutes against reddit's trained team in a super hyped Tribes Ascend match.
Does reddit ever win anything? I will always remember the rag-tag team /v/ assembled in 30 minutes against reddit's trained team in a super hyped Tribes Ascend match.
How'd it go?
How'd it go?
Reddit started 2-0, /v/ came back to win 3-2.
How'd it go?
/v/ lost the first two rounds but made a major come back and won the last three winning them the game.
I really want to see some video footage from inside that battle, not from like 100 lightyears away.
I've always had this silly little dream/hope in the back of my head that Eve Online is like this sort of "Enders Game" kinda thing set up and that we're actually controlling avatars engaged in massive space battles lightyears away :v:
I cant wait to resub when i get a job in the fall

I wish it was a game with actual exciting space combat. Still cool although.
I wish it was a game with actual exciting space combat. Still cool although.
It's got very exciting space combat, but there's so much going on in these cases you'll game will prob crash if you look at it in normal view
I wish it was a game with actual exciting space combat. Still cool although.
it has this, but not in large engagements (where you just shoot what the commander tells you too and hope your not the enemy fleet's next target) or in PvE (come on) small to medium engagements legitimately get the heart racing, because in those your own manoeuvrability and defences actually mean something.

The issue with reddit is that it's not a community in the same way something awful or even facepunch is. Test isn't really the "reddit alliance" when you consider "fweddit" reddit's factional warfare corp is now actually fighting on the side of the CFC(goonswarm). Subreddits are their own communities and the upvote system hides all the idiots, whereas in a forum they are all right there. Also: much better stream than mad ani's: http://www.twitch.tv/drew_qt
I wonder how many ships it would take to destroy a Titan if every ship fired at once? The question came to mind because obviously the leaders must give each group of ships a target. The only experience I have with EVE was asteroid mining with a group of people over a year ago with a Retriever (mining barge).
TEST's motivational speech was stupid. Yeah, use an LOTR quote, very nice.
I know nothing of EVE. Why are the ships all clustered together to the point where it looks like they are clipping through each other, and what are the blue transparent orbs for?

(Eve has awesome scaling) Blue orbs are shield I believe, not sure, never did much in EVE but harass people in lowsec space.
