I can attest to this. When I was in high school a lot of the computer desks teachers used were old as shit and had a power button on the side of the desk. I did not know this, and as I was waiting for my teacher to hand my back a paper, I felt the button and went "The hell is this? *click* Oh fuck." and the computer turned off.
Basically nothing happened. He asked for everyone's papers back so he could re-enter them.
That's a p.cool statue
Why did someone think it was a good idea to put that in a window?
Just imagine stopping at a stoplight and as you admire yourself in the rearview mirror, you notice this motherfucker looking right at you from the building next to you.
Wow, didn't even know that, well it makes sense I guess, well kind of I still don't understand why it's life sized and facing out of a fucking window.
Because they can and it's legal?
people make mistakes
This statue could have been hurt

I'm highly suspicious of this being a stupid practical joke. At least nobody got hurt.
It looks real enough.

Depends on if it is labeled. If there was an unmarked red button by the door I'd have probably pressed it as well. The emergency button at my work has like a big plastic cover and a "PRESS THIS AND SHIT GOES NUTS" printed on it.
