Am I the only one who thinks shit's going to hit the fan much sooner than we thought? I wouldn't be surprised if we started having climate change refugees by 2020.
Shit like climate change deniers and people that say stupid shit like "we should deal with stuff down here before we go to space" enrage the hell out of me.
Your ignorance isn't acceptable "okay, that's how you feel" ignorance. You will end up killing millions of people, your children included.

It's possible that we already do, but because such a concept isn't really a thing yet, we probably peg them as other types of refugees.

Isn't the recent Refugee crisis already caused somewhat in part by Climate Change?
Keep in mind that the ice that's really important for earth's temperature regulation is the south pole ice. That'll keep the earth's oceans circulating for another century or two. When that goes though, our great great grandkids are totally fucked. Like, "most of the oceans becoming completely uninhabitable to all sea life except poison-producing bacteria" fucked
Good thing our new president elect plans to eliminate almost every existing environmental regulation because he chooses to push the narrative that climate change is a hoax. You think the Syrian refugee crisis is bad? Wait until most of humanity's coastal cities flood, global fisheries collapse, and desertification wipes out our farm belts. Thanks, climate change deniers, and a very special thank you to President Elect Trump and his cadre of anti-intellectual populists!
Except the part where you, me, and everyone currently on this forum will be long dead before that happens.
Record high tempatures where I live we got our first snow last night even, but on average we are supposed to get it a month before. Rip planet Earth

Some of us may want to have kids, you know. Or like the idea that humanity will continue to flourish after our death. And even then, the consequences of climate change will be evident in our (or at least my) lifetime.
And have you heard of the show "Whose Alt Are You Anyway"?
