To be brutally honest, I think that you are spot on and this this is a bishop move in a game of political chess.
If this was the case all Trump needed to say was, "Clinton leaks information to Russia." there's no gain from just making himself look stupid.
As a result of Russia's actions?
How is Russia going to release anything without the press.
To be brutally honest, I think that you are spot on and this this is a bishop move in a game of political chess.
Completely agreed. Trump knows what he is doing by bringing up the emails again. Looking into the camera with this statement terrorized the media and now its on the front page of every news website, and its only news worthy if they admit the emails had classified info.
As a result of Russia's actions?

“If Russia or China or any other country has those emails, I mean, to be honest with you, I’d love to see them.”
stop playing dumb
i cant see how praising russia will win him any favor among americans, if theres one thing all americans can agree on is to be skeptical of the kremlin
You're completely missing the point. It doesn't matter what Hillary said or what the Democrats response is. As soon as this statement left Trump's mouth it was disastrous. It was a bad thing to say.
I'm pretty sure the results of the FBI investigation were that because she didn't "literally give them access" the only thing they could do was administrative sanctions, which obviously don't apply to civilians not employed in the state department or any state agency.
It absolutely matters what their response was. What? You aren't willing to look steps ahead and look past the text, look what the Democrat response shows and tells.
It would be like if I said "I sure someone finds that dead body you buried" and you reply "I didn't bury it, I burned it instead", do you see how you compromised yourself and shot yourself in the foot? That is what the Clinton campaign just did.

Not really because Trump himself said they were classified, and said he wanted Russia to release them.
Trump could trepan himself live at the RNC and people would post about how he's only making himself smarter.

Trump supporters think it's okay for Russia to influence American politics though. When Trump says Russia should launch (further?) cyberattacks and leak documents to the press, they think it's a good thing.

Find a single article questioning the email scandal as a result of this gaffe.

Out of all the sources you could have used you chose Clinton's Foreign Policy Adviser? She doesn't mention Clinton or the email scandal, only Trump's gaffe.
In fact most articles are now questioning why Trump is so obsessed with Putin, and the last thing a republican wants to be accused of is being a Russian shill.

This can literally be found on Hillary Clinton's twitter.

Dude literally no part in this mentions the email scandal, just Trump's invitation for Russia to release state secrets.
Jesus Christ did you even read it?

But I thought that the media said before that those lost e-mails weren't national security issues?
Why are they suddenly considered a security issue if they would get leaked then, if they claimed that Clinton's e-mail server being as leaky as the plumbing in Rio de Janeiro wasn't a massive security issue before?

It's literally a response to Trump talking about the email scandal. Come on dude, pay attention to context.
It has nothing to do with it being a national security issue or not. Those 30,000 emails could be Clinton and her aides talking about how shitty Ghostbusters looks and it would still be wrong to encourage Russia to compromise and leak those emails.

They literally just said it was a matter of national security, they admit to it. According to them, previously, they could very well just be personal private emails that could be about Ghostbusters. But they are seriously so short-sighted then didn't see how they just exposed themselves.

Yeah, asking foreign governments to try and hack American servers is nation security, no matter who or what he's asking them to hack.

No it's literally a response to Trump calling for Russia to hack the US. As is every other news outlet running the story. I'm asking for even a Breitbart link or something that says, "Trump gives new insight on Clinton emails."

The only people running this "They exposed themselves" meme is you and BILLYMAYS. I'm not finding a single pro-Trump source who thinks they have also discovered the next SMOKING GUN in the case against Clinton's emails.
It's a national security issue due to the precedent it sets, it doesn't necessarily imply that those emails are a national security risk, just that a nominee is telling Russia to hack US assets and give them to the press. Why the fuck would her foreign policy advisor know about the content of her emails specifically?

What you need a news article to validate what I'm saying, instead of just thinking for yourself and look at the situation? Regardless if it is openly biased, you'll accept something like Breitbart?
Well here is one I guess

Same applies to you. You shouldn't need a news article to point this out to you, just look at it.

God damn it trump
You can't boil down the issue to "clinton fucking up, this is why we can't trust her!". While that statement is TRUE, There's also the fact that the emails were legitimately classified documents and them leaking at all has implications beyond shitting on Hillary. Secret data being disclosed is bad.
Welp, now I know.
Sullivan did not explain how the e-mails, which Clinton said were about nothing more than her “yoga routines” and wedding planning for her daughter, could possibly pose a national security risk to the United States.
Because he isn't saying that calling for Russians to hack her emails is a national security risk, it's that you are calling the Russians to take emails full stop is a national security risk.
Alright I'm sorry for the shitpost earlier, here are my actual thoughts:
To call Russia to hack into any American server, no matter where it is in the world, is ridiculous and a violation of American sovereignty. It sets a very dangerous precedent of people getting foreign countries to hack whoever they like because 'the media might be interested.'
There is a reason why Snowden leaked the documents himself to trusted journalists and didn't interact with any foreign government until he was on the run. Because simply put - we really don't know what foreign countries would with those documents. I couldn't tell you what Ireland would do if it had those emails - use them as blackmail, potentially?
Like I shitposted earlier, I can't believe he keeps getting away with these awful statements. He's a Presidential Nominee - not just random guy off the street. He should be held to a much higher standard.

That's pretty bad if even Breitbart won't spin it, and the only source is a blog created because the authors were fired for plagiarizing all their work.
This tread is full of people grasping on a straw to further their views.
hey guys, you're in election period - everything opponents says will be blown out of proportions to be used against him.
"Asking another country to provide espionage" - if you really think all it takes to make FSB get up from their asses is just some OranguTan saying "please leak somethin" you're clearly playing in favor of both parties by getting involved in attention whoring contest.
Both Trump and Hillary are full of shit. Stop getting Kremlin in there to add some spice.
I actually wouldn't be surprised if this somehow actually DQ's him from the race, because I'm fairly certain what he did was illegal. I hate Hillary as much as the next guy but that's really, really, really bad.

Dude, USA supports Ukraine when it sustains a site where all journalists that are possibily affilated with presenting an opinion opposed to state's one are presented as preferable targets for man hunt under guidance of "cleansing of separatist", with detailed disclosure of private info about their whereabouts.
I think the world we live in cares really little about weight of words of responsibility for sharing private data - nothing will happen.

OK WOW apparently now there is official line in russian news about Trump saying literally something like " I remember when Putin once called Obama an N-word".
Media gonna have a field day with THAT

I'm talking more about the concept that this might fall under anti-espionage laws (which I admittedly know nothing about, but I do know that they're vague and far-reaching)
