Are you high? Or drunk?
Serious question.
And here i just bought a PS4 for it.....
How do people in 2014 still do this? Did no one learn from the PS3 launch? Couldn't you just wait till it was released before buying a PS4? Do gamers have no self control and that's why the current state of the industry is so bad?

MW2 boycott.
That's literally the only argument people will ever need for 'gamers have no spine'.

Gamers complain but never do anything. There's a big "it's everyone else's fault and not mine" attitude.
Half of the data I look at is literally seeing how much you can squeeze out of gamers before they do anything.
Core gamers complain the most about mobile games, but spend the most.
Core gamers complain the most about dlc, while spending ass loads on dlc.
EA/Ubi would be in real trouble if people who said they stopped buying their games actually did.
Also like whoops said, mw2 boycott.

Spineless consumers are actually good for the industry. Anything to keep studio lights on.

Every boycott.
In fact, every scandal that's ever occured. Watch_Dogs, Battlefield 4, Sim City, etc.

Alright, you're right, I'm sorry. I should probably just keep my conspiracy theories to myself. I'm just derailing the thread and adding nothing. I'll shut up now.
Then I will write a full formal apology when I download the game. That's the best you're getting.
How retarded are you?
I'm happy for you guys.
best news of the decade, thanks kojima

GoG release please becouse I really don't want to deal with Steam anymore.
Yes finally as much as I'm going to love playing this on pc the fact that the games can be debugged in real time is a big win especially for figuring out foxpack archives which seemed to be encrypted for GZ on the ps3

Not liking Steam aside, a GOG release would be pretty awesome.

If you think a big-time company like Konami will release a new and major game without DRM in TYOOL 2014 you are out of your goddamn mind.
GTAV... And now MGSV...
Why did I even get a PS3?!

MGS4?

Yeah, all you guys rating this dumb are right. A GOG release would be awful.
You know what is weird? I commented on a video showcasing the new and improved box saying I was disappointed that it would not come to Steam and such, and then not long after I heard this.
MGS is never going to come to PC."
That's odd. I'm playing 2 on the PC right now. also you're dumb if you truly think that. They aren't going to announce V on PC then not deliver.
If you want to get technical, the series started on PC, with the MSX in 1987.
Yeah, all you guys rating this dumb are right. A GOG release would be awful.
but it's dumb

The more popular Steam becomes as a distribution platform and an encourager to make PC ports, the better. I personally love extremely popular PC releases being tied to steam because other large developers see the success and will also use Steam to release their own games. AAA games are gonna be on Origin, Uplay, or Steam, so I prefer Steam be the most popular.

At the same time, though, I would be pretty thrilled to see a major publisher embrace the DRM free model alongside the Steam release.

DRM free also means no individual user authentication.
Now all we Fucking need is the Silent HillS game and where good to go.
Only when I can actually play it, will I ever admit I'm wrong. Not a second sooner.
They are VERY protective over archives. It's luck that someone was able to crack into MGS3's files a tiny bit.
Don't expect much to change.
