i got an ipod touch 4g, costed me 230€ it was a kick in the nuts but it's being worth it despite the battery life when i play angry birds

An iPod is good because it fits in your pocket. iPads are too big and too expensive.

I got a used iPad relatively cheap ($100) and I've gotten what I paid out of it. It's really good for browsing the web in front of my TV or in bed, and watching videos and reading pdf's on it is also really fun. It's definitely not worth the insane price-tag Apple put on it; but if it were cheaper it would definitely be worth it.

and the apps are a good time killer if you're waiting at a bus stop, in a train, etc.
