No but how exactly is it racist to say someone is forcing himself into having a strong accent ? I mean I knew most of the guys who now talk with that accent and two years ago they were talking without any sort of accent (or at least a discrete one) and not shouting in chā' Allāh or swearing on the Quran. It just suddenly appeared and the habit is already disappearing as they understood they didn't have to shout their culture in order to express it.
I have no problem with this, but I think the reason the term gay isn't really applicable is that ascribing a sexuality to animals is a form of anthropomorphism. Though this might be a bit of a grey area as sexuality is not something that is seen to be chosen by the individual anyway.

More seriously it can be a hormonal problem that makes one of the two think the other is a female, hence why they stay together. Animals are complicated but I don't think they are to the point homosexuality is actually triggered by anything other than basic, physical problems or instinct.

I never said it did, I was thinking about his hormones being closer to a female's than a male's, which for other penguins made him closer to a female than a male. They have their own way of identifying each other as male or female and I guess these rely a lot on body odor, pheromones or very slight physical variations.
