Cool. Still think you're a dick dude. this just in ok
Holy shit, what a douchebag.
I still don't get the mindset of going to non porn things to look at porn If you want to look at boobs just fucking find a porn site
Except replace Tumblr with Facepunch. Same exact thing - some would rather view porn threads here than to be bothered with going to Pornhub or Youporn.
as little as this affects the porn on my dash, im sort of worried that this is just the first step to dismantling the site
It will be. It's only a matter of time.
Holy shit, what a douchebag.
Please tell me more about how I should avoid speaking of things just because they're mean? (User was banned for this post ("Threadshitting / Derailing - Not the first time, but the last time" - Craptasket))
Everyone is so mad about this it's funny, specially the completely unfounded paranoia (see: wickedplayer)
This means if a user runs a blog marked "adult" wants to publicize a fundraiser, get the word out about life changes, post about sex ed with non-illustrated images, share a favorite brownie recipe, or share news about their experiences at a protest
yeah I'm sure they'll do all that instead of having all those goddamn porn site advertising blogs, which are literally the one thing "evil yahoo" is going after with this move
anyway this shit is fixed if tumblr staff is to be believed since apparently "adult" rating was meant for people literally hosting porn sites on tumblr and "nsfw" for everyone else it's probably a load of bullshit but oh well http://staff.tumblr.com/post/55906556378/all-weve-heard-from-a-bunch-of-you-who-are

Last year, we added “Safe Mode" which lets you filter out NSFW content from tag and search pages. This is enabled by default for new users and can be toggled in your Dashboard Settings. As some of you have pointed out, disabling Safe Mode still wasn’t allowing search results from all blogs to appear. This has been fixed.
This is how it should've been from the very beginning. So yeah, everything's fixed now, you can resume your fapping routine now without getting mad at each other.
Please tell me more about how I should avoid speaking of things just because they're mean?
It's not that you shouldn't talk about things that are mean or unpleasant, it's that you shouldn't take surveys for pure fact and assume people are such a way without any real proof to the matter. The human element makes many things a case by case scenario. regardless of surveys. I understand you were talking to someone else and I'm kind of butting in here, in a place where maybe I shouldn't be, but I wanted to share my thoughts anyways.
Also, just because you read an article on Huffington Post doesn't give you the right to deem another person autistic or autistic-like. I know a kid with autism and the fact that you even brought it up over a Facebook argument shows how out of touch you are. [editline]20th July 2013[/editline] Oh and I have no problem with what was revealed to be the changes made. Its actually pretty nice and actually should've been expected. Why didn't they have this SafeSearch-esque option before?
I'm going to stop now, this has derailed far too quickly. I'm sorry if I offended anyone personally, just sharing my interpretation of facts.
Every thread you post in.
also j!nx this post pretty much destroyed your chances of being taken seriously at all - it concisely proves that you know nothing of what you speak
I know its a shit post, but IMHO, my later point should still be ok on how it makes good photos less in quality by being over used. But when used with a really old car, or the right colors, it makes it looks good. It just, isn't easy finding the right thing to do it with.
Every thread you post in.

Holy shit, what a douchebag.
its ok its ok we hugged afterwards its all better now
Well, how on earth can I get a hardon now? I stopped fantasizing for boners.
Thank you Craptasket
...Why? Are yahoo really that prudish or just a bunch of imbeciles?
But the children... What if they see an... Peee peee? They will become satanists!
Please tell me more about how I should avoid speaking of things just because they're mean? (User was banned for this post ("Threadshitting / Derailing - Not the first time, but the last time" - Craptasket))
No. Surprise. At. All. Good riddance honestly
I honestly don't really care about tumblr but it is kinda bullshit that they said they wouldnt do this just to please people who were concerned, before immediately doing it anyway without even letting anyone know. Yahoo is a big corporation, they're going to keep doing it and getting away with it, because people that use tumblr are the only people that would care about tumblr being censored in the first place, but it's total bullshit that a site that boasts you can make a blog about anything won't let you make a blog about anything anymore.
If Yahoo is censoring blog entries based on their tags, can't we just make new tags indefinitely that mean the same things. i.e using #adultcontent instead of #adult, then when that is blocked use #actuallyadult instead of #adultcontent and so on. It's inconceivable that they would be able to censor tags as quickly as people could make them up.
Noooo, my tumblr art-account. :( I flagged it as NSFW because I had some nude studies in it, so then it won't show up anymore?
Noooo, my tumblr art-account. :( I flagged it as NSFW because I had some nude studies in it, so then it won't show up anymore?
If it is the tumblr you linked to, no. http://andromonoid.tumblr.com/robots.txt It seems however they are reverting a few changes, as one tumblr I knew of used to have the "disallow: /" on it and now it does not.
Noooo, my tumblr art-account. :( I flagged it as NSFW because I had some nude studies in it, so then it won't show up anymore?
Read the staff post, turns out it's not really much of a change at all
