I once put $100 in a 'help Japan' kettle after the tsunami. I mean, it's nowhere near as much as that, but it was all I had on me except the money for the train ticket home. That day I didn't eat until dinner, but with a good conscience.

In Canada the Salvation Army cannot hold religious values or discriminate against people based on their sexual orientation. So up here, they are a lot better in that regard.

I love anonymous donators, I mean some people brag about donating and it makes them look more like assholes rather than good people.

Man, I raid the salvation army donation box multiple times a day, and make a lot of money that way. Would of been fucking awesome to find that ring. The most I've made myself from there in one find is $500 from selling a tv and blueray. That shit was probably thrown out by some guy's bitch of a wife/girlfriend.
