We used to have a Second life thread here on Facepunch, I wonder what happened to it, and the hangout we had, I remember we had glass that would break in the roof whenever something collided with it, I also remember the members of the group asking me to get pictures of the Teen grid for the thread, because I was banned off the main grid for being a minor.

Sometimes I'm afraid that Steam at one point will be so big people will hate it regardless of how good/bad the service is, just like the large majority of huge services out there.

There's actually a lot of people like that right now and before, recent example is like when Duke Nukem Forever was announced to use Steamworks, the first few pages on the official forums were a bunch of people refusing to get it because of Steam :v:

I don't mind this at all. I used to play this 4 years ago. I remember when the marketplace thing was unofficial. I had a separate folder on Hotmail for all of the crap I bought on it.
