Steam encrypted game cannot be cracked. It's impossible. But if it was a cd version, then it wasn't encrypted because putting encrypted files on a cd is stupid as shit.

He means encrypted as in how a game is encrypted when you preload it: the game content itself is scrambled and Steam needs to use a special key to decrypt it after the game is released.

Or as someone else stated, not steam version. Steam encrypted games cannot be cracked before release. Not only is the data encrypted, not all data is preloaded, mainly the executable itself, so you can't run it even if you somehow manage to decrypt it.
