Germany migrant shelter fire 'cheered by onlookers'

People actually still think it's justified to shoot others only because "they aren't us"?
Because I haven't seen AfD demonstrate any xenophobia or hatred. It's exactly like Donald Trump.
"Oh, this guy said some things which could be seen as mildly distasteful under some circumstances! He's the next Hitler!"
Are you for real?
They have massive problems of people leaving the party because former NeoNazi party members are getting into positions within the party.
The FOUNDER OF THE PARTY ITSELF SAID THAT IT HAS GOTTN TOO XENOPHOBIC AND CONCENTRATED ON ANTI MUSLIM OPINIONS.

Many members of the AfD can be ACTIVELY SEEN posting right wing content on their facebook profiles together with anti-democratic messages-

And this dude is one of the "more left" members that stayed.
He's friends with many many people openly organized in NeoNazi parties.
One of them held a speech about Africans having Racial traits that makes them spread and replace the "homely" European race.
The AfD distanced itself by calling it "almost racist"

The complete upper functionary group of the biggest town in my homestate withdrew their campaigns for "traditional christian values" and "no mercy for criminal migrants" after a newspaper reported on all of them being guiolty of several crimes including coercion, violence, illegal posession of weapons and robbery.
So if you don't see Xenphobes, well here are some Hypocrites.
The highest functionary of my homestate https://www.facebook.com/andre.poggenburg?fref=ts is campaigning together with Bernd Höcke, the "African race" dude.
By this point you arrived at "didn't see it happen so it didn't happen"
The regions where this shit is happening dispropotionally often have been known for lots of right wing violence and problems for decades.
It happened in the 90s, just with different immigrants, same slogans, same dumb idiots.
This is not the "normal working class people".
I don't even know why we are arguing this.
The most "left extremist" people you will find in Bautzen are these guys:

How in the fuck does this breed counterreactions like burning stuff?
Do these guys(arguably from a demonstration in Magdeburg) look like your average working class everyday normal guy?

These guys have been spotted in Bautzen on a Demonstration on 15./16. January 2016
They are known members of a Neonazi Party.
Antifa ain't much better. They are pretty much the same extremists, but on the other end on the political scale. Which somehow is okay with you and the leftist governments? Hell, I've even seen recruitment posters for them at my university last year. Citing a pay-out for showing up. In Amsterdam a few weeks ago, some of the left-wing parties were openly supporting them while they were out to start a fight against anti-immigration groups who were refraining from seeking any conflict. It's fucking lunacy that they get a free pass purely because of their political beliefs. Antifa reminds me more of the Brownshirts than those far-right extremists, since the Brownshirts were also government-approved at the time. Ain't that a bit ironical, that a group claiming to be anti-fascists being the biggest fascists Europa has seen since the Brownshirts?
No.
Violence is never okay with me and most of the time also not by the government.
I disagree with their generalizations just as much as with any and the anti-police attitude is childish and stupid.
Dead people by right wing motivated violence since 1990: 156 to 169 depending on the sources
Dead people by left wing motivated violence since 1990: 6 2 of them by a terrorist group.
https://bibliolinx.wikispaces.com/Todesopfer+linker+Gewalt
The AntiFa is under heavy investigation by the Government and I don't get why you are trying to shift the discussion on them.
Your post is literally the equivalent to "b-b-b-but look at the OTHERS"
Throw your red hering somewhere else please.
This is about people cheering arson of a refugee shelter.
wth is with people using 'Europa' to describe Europe?
Also the whole 'the real fascists are the Anti-fascists' is so goddamn played out and dumb. You have to know next to nothing about fascism for it to be remotely true. I mean, it's not like fascism somehow has a monopoly on political violence. Other groups have and continue to use it. Call them authoritarian/whatever but they sure as hell aren't fascists.
:snip:
"When the police officer's live is threatened, I support the use of lethal force [...] migrants do not deserve the same rights as citizens"

Calm down. I know moral outrage is fun, but calm down. It's clear to me that none of you took a second to comprehend what I said and instead decided to post angrily in response.
wth is with people using 'Europa' to describe Europe?

In many languages it is Europa rather than Europe.

On Facebook, I can find Bernie Sanders supporters who completely seriously advocate for killing all white men. They don't represent Bernie Sanders or the Democratic party. When you're using individual Facebook profiles to prove that political organizations you don't like are evil nazis, your argument is really falling apart.
Furthermore,

Ok. And? Traditional Christian values and a tough on crime stance don't equate to kill all Muslims.
Traditional Christian values and a hard stance on crime are pushed by virtually every political organization in my country but I don't see any genocide or yellow badges.
We talk english here if you cant tell.
We do, but many people use 'Europa' nonetheless
Why dont you calm down? You are here to stir a shitstorm with your marginal opinions,
I like to think that I'm one of the calmer posters here but OK
shooting migrants that do NOT Fucking threaten police lives is a shitty idea. For 4 pages you have been told that. Of course police under threat will shoot, that is universally ok, nobody is talking about that.
Yes, we all agree about that. Lethal force should not be used unless the officer's life is threatened.
Trouble is many people misunderstood my post
These people arent expressing their anger, they are breaking the law and are criminals. End of the story.
They're expressing anger and breaking the law.
Also, traditional christian values mean different things in Saxony and in Iowa. I didnt think you would need to be told that again, but religion is open to interpretation.
I don't live in Iowa, or the South (as someone earlier suggested)
but you aren't
When I put something in "" to make a point, it doesn't mean I actually hold that view
For example,
"I identify as a gorilla and will not abide by anyone who does not acknowledge that"
doesn't mean I identify as a gorilla.
It was your useless exageration that didn't seem very calm.
I get your cheap irony.
I get your cheap irony.
Why, then, have you made a hobby out of taking everything I say at face value and challenging statements that are obviously not serious?
Because you are making over the top sarcastic exagerations in all caps of points that nobody ever made and then call yourself one of the calmer poster.
it's amazing how tolerant and understanding certain facepunch members are of extremism when it just happens to be extremism that they have repeatedly supported the goals of in other threads
i mean, any other thread where it was arson or another mob crime (or people in argentina passing around a fucking dolphin) we seem to value the agency of people and criticize them for their actions
but when it comes to refugees MAN IT'S THE FAULT OF THE GOVERNMENT FOR ACCEPTING ALL THOSE REFUGEES, THAT'S WHY THEY DID IT, LET'S BLAME THE GOVERNMENT RATHER THAN THE OBVIOUSLY CULPABLE PEOPLE
DID I MENTION THAT I *HAPPEN* TO NOT LIKE """"""REFUGEES""""""", BUT IT'S JUST A COINCIDENCE IN THIS CASE
In the case of an unruly and dangerous crowd composed of individuals who are not German citizens, and thus not entitled to protection by the German state, use of firearms is perfectly understandable. Likewise, use of warning shots for crowd control is perfectly fine too.
except they are entitled to protection under the european convention on human rights so they are entitled to protection as article 1 states that members have a responsibility to uphold the charter within their jurisdiction (and sometimes beyond)
"The High Contracting Parties shall secure to everyone within their jurisdiction the rights and freedoms defined in Section I of this Convention"
so no you're wrong
the exact same laws that prevent the police from shooting up civilians unless in extreme circumstances protect the lives of refugees as well
you'll be interested to know that laws typically use 'people' as the target, because how the hell would police determine if they're refugees before using lethal force, unless they were going to stereotype
Some dude just got in his car and drove into the town where the poice brutally yanked refugees out of a bus to "protect them".
And he took some pics and spoke to the family.
how do you even blame this on political correctness
You can't claim that Islamic terrorism is backlash from Western imperialism, but then claim that this kind of stuff isn't backlash from political correctness.
You can't claim that Islamic terrorism is backlash from Western imperialism, but then claim that this kind of stuff isn't backlash from political correctness.
Islamic terrorism in large part stems from Islam. There are tenants within the ideology and statements from its leadership that justify such behaviors.
"Western imperialism"
I'm afraid you're about 100 years late.
