Isn't the cap at 100? :P
Also, solid ass campaign with 3 good friends and skulls. Some of the most fun I've ever had with a game in my life has been just fucking around and trying to save marines and getting out of maps.
Woah, woah, woah, woah, woah, woah!
How the fuck is Halo responsible for the 'generic grown & bloom shooters,' trend?! Halo is one of the most colourful fucking FPS games I've ever seen. So many purples and oranges and shit. I LOVED how much colour was in Halo!
Master Chief's armour makes sense - the Halo 3 Mark VI armour is going to blend in with vegetation and look MUCH more natural than the Mark V armour in Halo: CE. That's a realism thing.
Halo 2 and Halo 3 were by FAR more colourful than Halo: CE - Halo 2 especially with High Charity and whatnot. Halo 4 WAS less colourful in general (which was annoying) annoying; a result of that stupid rule that they came up with post Halo 3 or something whereby they said, "no more purple."
Purple is HARDLY used in games EVER. I was fucking happy to see it everywhere in the original Halo trilogy.
Why would Sony allow Microsoft to use Blu Ray in the Xbox One?
I don't know how that's relevant, but no one actually holds the definite patent for blu-ray, so I'm pretty sure the courts ruled that both of them can use it, there's UV-ray now which is 150% better.
Guys, RoosterTeeth Expo is next week, and FYI there's this
RoosterTeeth site is down so I can't post the source but, maybe??
here's an alternate source tho

just my 2 cents, but it is way to early for 343 to say much about halo 5.
So they, rainbowing thru the roof here, must be talking about something other then halo 5. Wich can't be alot other than halo 1/2/3
or they could be on about Halo 4, as virgin gaming is going there

Shit, never thought they could also announce changes in multiplayer of dlc packs.
fuck.
maybe they'll announce both

The Saints Row series, especially 3, is a great example of Purple being used as the main color seen almost everywhere.

In many important main missions, the sky is even purple. Looks very awesome imo.

Not when it's used exclusively. Halo has a broad range of colours but SR3 just looks bland.

Didn't the armor get darker/less green because of the amount of time Master Chief had been in the shit? All his shiny paint just got slowly worn away as time went on.
Or maybe the devs didn't like the idea of his armor being butt ugly green?

But if you are going off that his armor in Halo 1 should be pretty fucking worn after what happened 'The fall of Reach'.
Also saying that makes no sense as at the beginning of 2 he gets completely new armor, and the armor in 4 is so visually different to 3's that it might aswell be called new.

Sony doesn't exclusively own blu-ray, bunch of other companies do as well.

I don't think Master Chief actually fought on Reach, he was there but he only engaged in a space station to stop the covies from getting some navigation crystal, though I havent read the new edition so I'm unsure if thats changed.
Looks like im going to RTX, decision made.

Unless you got tickets already I highly doubt that, I'm pretty sure they sold out ages ago.
I just want a Halo on PC with non-desyncing AI (which I know Halo 3 has with online Co-Op available). Playing custom maps with AI with 2 teams was fun even though they never synced. Imagine playing multi-team on a custom map with AI that actually syncs for once.
I hope we can have custom co-op campaign maps too (though after that Halo 2 Vista fiasco with locked-down editor I'm not sure they would allow custom single player maps, which is a shame because that's what I love the most about Halo Custom Edition now).

it's a videogame, not real. the devs just did this on purpose to appeal to 14 year olds who can't tolerate color

Its kinda stupid to say Halo 2 or 3 didn't have color.

Kinda really stupid.
The only times in 2 and 3 where I felt the color pallet bordered on too dull was New Mombasa and Voi respectively.

Yeah, the main reason I loved the covenant was because of the colourfulness.
Fuck I got invited by mom's coworker to go to RT convention and turned it down fuuuuck
Why?

The Halo series is not lacking in colour at all
see: H3 Mythic DLC
Mythic Map Pack was the tits!
Orbital was one of my favorite H3 maps of all time.

They still got 3 day passes for sale, but I rather only go for one day. Luckily it is only a 3 hour drive from Dallas to Austin so it won't kill me totally to drive down there.
I remember when the heroic map pack came out, that was the shit at the time. So many good memories in this game. I really hope this is true

All of those Foundry maps, oh man.
H3 custom games was the bomb.
I loved 3's custom games, but I think Reach just supported it in such a better way. More options and proper map editing through forge.
I think I honestly played as much Reach as I did 3- if not more- for that very reason. Hell I'd still pop it in now and play. The custom gametype options and Forge World did wonders for that game's longevity.
Reach forge is just H3 sandbox-era forge with snapping and stuff, nothing they couldn't add at this point if they wanted to.
And more useful pieces ranging from building blocks to structures. Sandbox and Foundry didn't have as versatile a selection. Not to mention Forge World was a much better space if you ask me. Besides, snapping, coordinate editing, and proper phasing was a godsend for forgers and did a lot more to make it accessible to more of the community.
