Didn't google buy skype right? So why wouldn't they just use it exclusively with google+? wouldn't that be better for them?

Feel like I'm one of the very few people who seem to completely not care about this at all. I don't think I could possibly be less excited about video chat or group chat being added to Facebook. I've never done a video chat with anyone and I hope I never do - I don't see the appeal.
Seems like part of the great thing about chatting with people on the Facebook is that they can't actually see you.
If I get involved with this new video chat ridiculousness, everyone I know will find out that I haven't [I]actually[/I] been Laughing Out Loud at their stupid jokes.

and circles are pretty much all the reason i need to prefer google+ over the shit heap that facebook is
