In a worse side, some weirdo bronies changed their names to Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy.

When reality finally hits them like a brick wall, they'll realize how fucking stupid that decision was
Kinda ironic that Sweden would not allow someone to name their child "Metallica", considering Sweden has a prominent metal scene.
I'm surprised there aren't any name laws here in the US. Why on earth would you want to call your kid "Shanaynay?"
Because your wife cheated on you and you have a black horse as a child?
I would name my kid 'Sir' or 'Lady', depending on gender. 'Admiral' if I wanted it to be gender-neutral.
I'm confused as to why Miatt wasn't allowed.

His first Christmas present will be the full CoD collection.
A Month ago 2 Parent's named their kid "Dovakhiin", which caused Bethseda to give them "every Bethseda game ever made" plus new releases to them, that already made the Sensationalist Headlines FP section.

If I were the kid I would legally change my name as soon as possible.
Yet us American's can name our child Apple...
I like Europe's policy on names better...
If I were the kid I would legally change my name as soon as possible.
Why? By the time he's a teenager, pretty much no one his age will know about Skyrim nor the source of his name. People are just going to think it's a cool foreign name.
If I were the kid I would legally change my name as soon as possible.
But you wouldn't be dragon born anymore :O
My janitor in middle school was a Native American man with a long braided ponytail named William Shakespeare.
My firstborn shall be named 'Slippery Dingus.
I want to see someone named Hei Yu.
"Hey you!"
"Yep, that's me!"
Yet us American's can name our child Apple...

Seems stupid to me, I can see why you'd want some laws on names but being able to name your kids whatever is fine, especially considering the average individual only uses common names anyway
Come here, UFO! Time for dinner!
I'm going to name my child Askim.
"What's your child's name?"
"Askim!"
[sp]Say it out loud[/sp]
ass kim?
so naming my kid penis would be legal?
Depends on where you live. Here you can more or less only use names in calendars and variations thereof.
my name is Christian. I am an Atheist. what kind of Ironic mockery is that?!
ass kim?
"Ask im," as in "ask him" if I have it correct
my name is Christian. I am an Atheist. what kind of Ironic mockery is that?!
My name is Hans Christian. "Hans" means "his" in Danish. So basically it's like saying "his/he's Christian", in a way.
I know someone who named their kid Ask.
So is Adolf not allowed in Germany?
I've always had this weird little dream.
Have a girl, name her "Ma~".
I wonder if I name my kid Jesus Christ will they try to ban it too?
Wasn't there a case of some couple in America who tried to call their kids garage, bathroom and bedroom after where they were conceived?
I heard they're going to ban animal names here in Norway, so children can no longer be named Ulf/Ulv (Wolf), Bjørn (Bear) etc
I don't believe that, Bjørn and Ulf are like the most common names in Norway [for the older generation]
I mean come on, my contact teacher's name is Bjørn and my Media teacher is named Ulf.
If I ever have a girl, I will name her 'Gina'.
Nothing wrong with that right?
Except for, I'm spanish and 'Come on' in Spanish is 'Va'
So whenever anyone would want to make her hurry up, they'd say 'Va Gina!'
I have an uncle named Jazz, it's an awesome name.
I'm gonna name my kid Blackened Post-Progressive Symphonic Metalcore.
