"We are with you London! <3" *Goes on to berate Mayor and literally troll Londoners with the mention of gun control.*

It's just so fucking strange to me that the fucking President is arguing against being politically correct.
It's just so fucking strange to me that the fucking President is arguing against being politically correct.
Trump confuses literal correctness for political correctness, and rages against reality.
Trump and his camp seem very eager to constantly point out that the terrorists were "ISLAMIC FUDAMENTALISTS", even going so far as to criticize Obama for not pointing this out constantly. Even Bush went out of his way to constantly point out the vast majority of Muslims and Muslim Americans are peace loving people just like the rest of us. Say what you want about Bush, but he didn't actively stoke hatred and fear against sections of law-abiding Americans.
Wow, such perception. Truly world class analytical skills. Why does he still have access to Twitter after this long? The guy is an embarrassment of a human being, not just a president.

Yes. We're not discussing about a thing because the perpetrators didn't use said thing. Masterful rhetoric at work here, y'all!
yall missed the point. he's saying you don't need guns to have 55 victims.
yall missed the point. he's saying you don't need guns to have 55 victims.
Fuck off with that nonsense. Don't go 'wait he actually meant' when there's nothing in there that implies it.
Anti-gun control in a really stupid way.
It's just so fucking strange to me that the fucking President is arguing against being politically correct.
His platform and election was built on being a hateful, insensitive, 'fuck you got mine' shitgargler. Not sure why this surprises anyone any more.
yall missed the point. he's saying you don't need guns to have 55 victims.
We had under 10 people die from stabbing and van related wounds. I'm pretty certain that number would be significantly higher if they had firearms due to the nature of not being able to outrun bullets as easily as you can a knife. Maybe if everybody was Usain Bolt they'd had a shot at running, but bullets fast, people slow. The fact they didn't have guns has almost certainly saved more lives than a rando in the crowd having one and thinking they could stop a fucking van or land a shot in the middle of a panicked crowd.

Sad!" [editline]4th June 2017[/editline]
It's really awesome that they had to result to the use bar stools to defend their lives lmfao fuck that
It's a lot easier to defend yourself from an attacker armed with a knife than if they were to have a gun. If they have a knife you can generally just run away, unless they're damn good at throwing them.
Also proves they don't need guns to kill you, why go through the trouble of smuggling in guns (france) to commit terror when they can just get in a vehicle and run over masses of unarmed defenseless civilians? What a joke.
Because then they can run over masses of civilians who won't even have time to react, THEN pull out guns and mow down some more. "But the civilians with guns-" Most of the civilians would likely be carrying hand-guns, while the attackers would have some form of rifle, most likely assault rifles (and don't start that "there's no such thing as an assault rifle" bull-honky with me, either). And hell, while they're at it, might as well throw on some body armor. Handguns work GREAT against body armor, right? "But if everyone had a gun-" No, it wouldn't matter. Deterrents only work if the attacker gives two shits about their own lives, and as we've seen, they don't. That and once people in civilian clothes start shooting, you'll have more people in civilian clothes shooting back, and you've now got a clusterfuck complete with the inevitable handful of idiots who have no fucking idea how to properly aim and fire a fire-arm, you'll have countless people mistaken for attackers, and you'll have many more caught in the cross-fire.
Trump has made the US into a laughing stock, all the world leaders must look at him and facepalm so hard. How embarrassing.
when your president is fear-mongering instead of trying to instill confidence in a rational, calm way, there's definitely a problem
Pretty appalling that the president will take the Mayor of London's words out on context and then go on a tirade on Twitter.
There was a problem on November 8 It is the same problem
The problem's been going on before that, some may point to 2001 but I'd say it's truly been going on since the cold war and earlier.
Pretty appalling that the president will take the Mayor of London's words out on context and then go on a tirade on Twitter.
What's even better is he's probably just repeating what he heard on Fox News
It's important to remember here that afaik it's way WAY more likely for you to slip in your shower and die, than die by terrorist attack. Why aren't we wearing helmets in showers? And also that it is the terrorists' objective to.. well, terrorize. They want people to get alarmed. Stop playing into their hands.
I just wonder why the fuck shower benches aren't a thing. How are we supposed to wash our feet while we're standing on them?
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2016/jan/21/england-wales-homicides-rise-knife-gun-crime ok
574 homicides? For a country of 65.1 million, that's not bad at all, that's a whole order of magnitude less percentage-wise than the rate in the US. Mate, there's literally nothing you can say that would cause anyone in the UK to want the public to get their hands on weaponry. The vast majority of people here don't even want our police [routinely operating] with weaponry! Our stance on gun control works. The people who need to have them can get them ( farmers, sports ) and there are sensible safety precautions that need to be adhered to to keep a hold of them ( Renewing licensces, spontaneous checks, weapons must be kept in safes at all times, etc. ). When there's a will there's always a way for people wanting to get black market weaponry, but our police are pretty good at dealing with those situations. Plus, they're fucking expensive, stopping absolute fuckwits getting their hands on them. I know I'm perpetuating this, but this should not be a debate on gun control, rather it should be a debate on who gave Trump access to twitter again, and what happened to Comey's open tesimony?
while the attackers would have some form of rifle, most likely assault rifles (and don't start that "there's no such thing as an assault rifle" bull-honky with me, either).
Way to show not once, but twice in the same sentence that you have no idea what you are talking about. The attackers would not have an Assault Rifle unless they stole it from the Government or bought it from the Black Market (who either stole it from a Government or smuggled it in from Africa or the Middle East). Even in America, under our current laws you may not own an Assault Rifle created or registered after 1986, and to own one you must pay thousands of dollars in fees and background checks. You need to be essentially wealthy and flawless to get cleared to own an Assault Rifle, and then you have to find one of the few pre-1986 registered Assault Rifles in the country, and it will not be cheap either. And I have no idea what the fuck you're implying with the "there's no such thing as an assault rifle" line, but that's stupid as hell. Assault Rifles are the service weapon of nearly every military on the planet, of course they fucking exist.
Pretty appalling that the president will take the Mayor of London's words out on context and then go on a tirade on Twitter.
I don't think a head of state has ever publicly gone after a city mayor like this in, well, US history for certain. It's fun how many shitty firsts this presidency has had, and it's been under half a year now.

Theresa May has defended Khan http://www.9news.com.au/world/2017/06/05/11/18/london-attacks-evil-slaughter-trump
Asked if Trump was wrong about his assessment of Khan, the prime minister told reporters on Monday: "I think Sadiq Khan is doing a good job and it's wrong to say anything else - he's doing a good job."
And he's said it again This is fucking outrageous, this man is supposed to be coming for a state visit this year

The mayor is trying to make the people calm, it's a bit flustering to see Trump "trump" up this situation out of proportion. I know terrorist attacks are a thing to be worried about, but you are more likely to die of a heart attack, a car accident, or a heart attack in your car accident.
