Sounds like a kid with a kazoo
Makes me curious. We can teach dolphins sign language. We can teach them to answer simple yes/no questions using it. A researcher is trying to teach dolphins two way communication using blocks and symbols. I wonder, if we can alter English or some other human language to sound more like whale calls similar to those audio recordings posted above, could we then teach them that to make speaking easier for them and then translate it back into words we can understand. Then there is always the problem of teaching them what the actual words mean, but if we can get them to mimic altered English then we will be able to teach them the corresponding sounds like we do with signs and symbols already.
If a whale was found on mars we'd be wondering why and HOW the fuck a whale got on mars. Did fucking shamu sneak onto the shuttle?
Some kids from some hick Colorado town sent him there.

Don't know if you've ever read/watched the primates that can have full conversations with other humans via sign.
What the hell are they saying, or are they singing
It's "Au Clair de la Lune," a popular French folk song of the period. The lyrics you can hear in that recording are: Au clair de la lune Mon ami Pierrot
What the hell are they saying, or are they singing
Au clair de la lune. The thing is, this wasn't meant to be played. Eduard Scott de Martinville used a small device to capture the soundwaves by vibration in order to see how it looked like. Which explains the jesus christ how terrifying voice and noise
I wonder what porpoise the whale could have for doing this.
Simply enough: Company. Like all animals, e.g. dogs, wolves, deer, which are living in packs or herds they just need company for their happiness and survival. Maybe the whale was trying to communicate with the humans around it in order to have some "real" company. Well, it's just a guess after all.
Totally sounds like a gypsy song!
This is probably really dumb, but I couldn't help but be reminded of this. It's like I'm back in 2006.
I love the comments on the source:
So what!!!! Here's another NEWSWORTHY story. My dog farts heaps and the really stink, if i went as far as i bottling it, it would be a WMD in Australia not Afghanistan, no wonder the Yankees could never find it. I had it all along. Shhhhhhh.

Yea... it was desperate to say "please let me out of here and go back to my natural habitat, you despicable monsters, otherwise i will die"... and then it did!

I also agree with ru serious, our creator, gave us a beautiful world to live in, it is humans who have destroyed alot of our world through greee, wars, religion, wanting power, and our beautiful sea and land animals , our mammels and innocent people are the ones who are left in devastation, the wisdom from a dolphins eyes should tell us we need to care more about what is important now and for future generations to come, maybe that is what this beautiful whilte whale is trying to get through to us about.
The fuck am I reading.
