;31911723']In Mexico, 90% of crimes go unpunished, in Mexico dozens die of cartel ciolence every day, in Mexico gangs control half the country. But according to all of you people, the US caused all of this? Most of you scramble to blame the US for everything, because you dislike it's more conservative political scene. Or, atleast thats what it seems like to me.
what do you think the cartels would be making NEARLY as much money without smuggling drugs to a country full of rich people who want drugs? there's a fucking reason mexican cartels often deal in american money.

Anyway, you are right that there is a huge amount of demand in America. You are also right that this makes them money. However, did the US cause all of this, no it was the people of MANY countries that caused a demand, not the US goverment.
I've been there on holiday. It's the best place I've ever been, except when we went into a city and a building next to our hotel got firebombed.
I feel sorry for all the sexy mexican women.
Crime has gotten far worse in Mexico, because of a demand for drugs. The drug war that ensues causes people to want to flee the country to escape violence. Because of the influx of drugs, and therefor illegals, the US increases border security to combat it. With added border security, Illegals need to hire gangs to help them get in, because of that gangs increase in size. The obvious way to stop all of this is to end demand of drugs from mexico, which can be achieved two ways. Legalise drugs and grow them here, or make the border secure enough that it isn't viable to smuggle drugs and people. Either way, the gangs will become much more desperate and therefor violent. This is an all around bad situation.
