It even has the same marking on the side of the hat as the photos the FBI released.
There really isn't a higher res version of that picture? I find it hard to believe since most DSLRs these days, and even point and shoots, take massive pictures. That one looks compressed too so it must have been resized.

Seems unlikely that they'd leave together, since FBI says bombs detonated shortly after being planted, and there's a hundred or so yards between the two explosions.

Depends on their detonation device. I have a feeling that it wasn't cell phone activated, but instead some sort of remote activator taken from a household item, something like a garage door opener receiver or something. Maybe a car door unlocker. You can buy those units separately online, and they don't leave any traceable signal. They could have both walked in with the backpacks separately as to not stir up suspicion. They probably then met near one another, looked at each other to confirm placement or whatever, and then set them off.
This is just my personal hair brained hunch.
