Ron Paul is the only viable option for you americans... Too bad that he wont make it this time, and will probably die until next time. Either by natural causes or by... force.
Ron Paul is the only viable option for you americans... Too bad that he wont make it this time, and will probably die until next time. Either by natural causes or by... force.
no, no, and no.
Yet he won't beat Romney
Implying that Ron Paul won't beat Mitt Romney. On a more serious note, I think Ron Paul's real goal is to spread the libertarian message. Maybe he won't win, but it will mean so much more if the libertarian values bring REAL change to the mainstream.

Ron Paul being the only viable option is debatable, so I won't knock you on that. 2. I would not say it is such a bad thing that he will not make it. He knows he never will. It is not his real objective (not that he would not like winning or anything). 3. He probably will live to 2016. The guy is too stubborn for death. And this last thing you said is my favorite part about the stupid segment about Ron Paul fans: the idea that Ron Paul is hugely important and a threat to traditional politics. The truth is that nobody will even waste the effort to kill him. Sorry.
It may not mean much coming from a supporter, but - I agree.
We can sit here and argue over who is the lesser of two evils when it comes to the GOP all day long, but we know Obama is going to win.
Let me amend my previous answer. There is only one variable for Obama's victory or defeat. If the Supreme Court strikes down Obamacare, Obama loses. If the Supreme Court upholds Obamacare, Obama wins. That is it. That is what will carry this election.
I'd rather have Paul than Romney. At least I can disagree with Paul at a basic level. The difference between libertarian and socialism style governments basically boils down to "Freedom or welfare?". You get to pick: Economic freedoms, or the welfare of your peers. Atleast with Paul I can say "I disagree with you, but respect your right to value other things than I do." with Romney his position is so muddy and mixed you really can't say such a thing.
Ron Paul Thread = MASSIVE shitstorm incoming
I want Ron Paul to be the Republican Primary but not as President, more because of the fact that he's against big corporations, federal reserve (which in my opinion the federal reserve is BULLSHIT), and wants to decommission foreign military bases. I think he'll bring a lot of that stuff to light if he were to eventually go toe to toe with Obamer.
Lots of butthurt and rage in this thread.

And no that doesn't mean I'll vote Romney or Paul if my a hairs chance Romney dies.

He won't beat rommney but he will loosen his overall control.

That's okay though, ignoring an argument and getting uppity because I use ~harsh~ language totally invalidates EVERYTHING I've said. And don't fucking come here saying I don't argue a point, ignore ALL my points and do the exact same fucking thing you accuse me of doing. You are a giant hypocrite. Its funny in washington. Seattle is really liberal but just a few miles east is Bellevue, Seattle's Conservative brother. Most of ron paul's votes are from the eastside.
Ron Paul is retiring after this election if he loses - both from running for president and Congress.
Oh now I feel bad. Well, he put forth a pretty good effort!
Hey, look. A Ron Paul thread. I feel like a lot of the bile that Paul gets is kinda unwarranted at this point, even though I don't like him. However this still needs to be reposted. ATTENTION RON PAUL IS LYING ABOUT AND/OR HEAVILY DOWNPLAYING HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE RACIST CONTENT OF THE NEWSLETTERS PUBLISHED DIRECTLY UNDER HIS NAME IN 1996 HE DID NOT DENY WRITING THE NEWSLETTERS AND SEEMED PERFECTLY KNOWING OF THEIR RACIST CONTENTS HE ONLY BEGAN DENYING KNOWLEDGE OR AUTHORSHIP ONCE HE WAS RUNNING FOR POSITIONS ON THE NATIONAL SCALE
Ron Paul is retiring after this election if he loses - both from running for president and Congress.
Good riddance. That cult needs to die in a fire.
This isn't very unexpected, he has a near religious following.
Ron Paul hate is almost as big of a bandwagon on facepunch as Ron Paul advocacy is on youtube.
The guy has associated with Klansmen and Neo-Nazis.
hey guys i'm a 14 year old puesdo-intellectual on the internet i know more than a experienced 40 year old career politician and doctor.
I don't like Ron Paul's policies, but it's very, VERY significant if he comes "within a shot" of getting the nomination. Ron Paul isn't good, but the fact that a radical candidate, or someone not a straight-edge Republican or Democrat could have a chance? THAT is important. Because that opens the doors to other candidates, other ideologies, more political diversity, and maybe some notable change. I don't want Ron Paul to win the nomination. But I want Ron Paul to get close enough to make a difference. Regardless, every Ron Paul thread is full of stupidity and ignorance from both sides.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_n5E7feJHw0
What a fine argument. Your link to a short Futurama clip is infallible.
Futurama is an intellectual
Ah yes, the private institution that is the fed printing money like no tomorrow is clearly completely fine. Anywho, paul is the only canidate who you can actually trust to do what he says. Ignoring the rest of the rabble involving idiots claiming paul is a nazi, what american politics needs is some sort of honesty rather than the show we have put on for the public right now. Not saying paul needs to win, just that he needs to debate obama.
