Humans have hunted these pandas almost to the point of extinction, foreigners treated these as oriental souvenirs and pulled many of them into unsuitable environments to showcase them as trophies. I would rather not have the panda go down as the result of how humans can drive a species to extinction but rather as what humans can do to restore it.
