Surveys can be skewed to either side, I generally avoid them in making an argument for/against something.
As for the legislation, I would be for national health care yet I don't think this bill is good enough. Maybe in a few years when we have a more moderate POTUS might we see a better bill be presented. More emphasis on Congress in the next few years as well, we need more senators/representatives that are more willing to debate the issue rather than conforming to party ideals.

And it's incredibly hypocritical to call the current bill unconstitutional for being a government takeover when Medicare monopolizes health insurance for everyone old enough to qualify.

Canada has a significantly smaller population than the US, it's not really a fair comparison. Also, I'm guessing Canadian laws don't allow corporations to spend their profits running campaign ads for their favorite candidates.
