people who are too lazy to switch or have a metric fuckton of accounts attached to it
Which I do. I don't see a reason to switch.
Phew, thank god my matureslut_6969@yahoo.com wasn't compromised. [editline]13th July 2012[/editline] although come to think of it I forgot the password to it
Not on the list, neither is the rest of my family. Sweet.
I only set up an account to play Fantasy Finance. I'll change it anyway to be safe.
Hey dude what's your password
Im guessing its "#YOLO" :v:
Just read this on Facebook from nVidia...coincidence?
Attention NVIDIA Forum and DevZone Users: We recently discovered that unauthorized third parties gained access to some user information. We continue to investigate this matter and are working to restore these sites as soon as possible. Please visit http://forums.nvidia.com/ and http://developer.nvidia.com/ for the latest status updates and guidance.
I never bothered using Yahoo because I would leave it for a day, come back and there were 1000 new emails? What the shit I just made the fucking account.
Just read this on Facebook from nVidia...coincidence?
Oh dear god..
"At Yahoo! we take security very seriously and invest heavily in protective measures to ensure the security of our users and their data across all our products," Bullshit, if you took security seriously you would have applied SOME kind of password hash, preferably a salted and secure one.
Use 123456 all the time, for spam emails
Just read this on Facebook from nVidia...coincidence?
Something else hacked... http://phandroid.com/2012/07/12/android-forums-security-breach-change-your-passwords-penetration-tester-wanted/
the fucks going on??
Keep seeing all this shit about this and that being hacked over the last couple hours.
I've had yahoo forever now. Shit, back in the 90's I was using it back on a dial up connection. I got a hotmail account as well, one is work-related the yahoo one is for all my other shit. Luckily enough my email has not been affected by any of this, still will change it to be safe though.
I forget the password to my yahoo account, I hope it's on there
Yeah.
Interesting, there's not just yahoo address in there but gmail, hotmail, msn, live, etc. I even saw some campus domains and a us.army.mil one. How did they get those passwords?
Thank god, weedboner@yahoo.com isn't on there
i'm in the clear even those worst case scenario i'd have to explain where all those "hey bby" IMs came from
By the way this also includes Gmail and Live accounts. Change all your passwords.
Good thing my Yahoo account got deactivated due to inactivity :downs:
My mom just switched from AOL to Yahoo. It's... an improvement?
It's a good thing that these hackers are using this for good (for the most part) and not to be completely evil.
I'm using BT Yahoo! mail so I guess it's time to change my password
By the way this also includes Gmail and Live accounts. Change all your passwords.
This only affects Yahoo! not Gmail or Hotmail.
If I hadn't had made my email on yahoo 10 years ago I wouldn't still be using that shitty site. It's so clunky, it crashes all the fucking time. The spam filter is shit. And god forbid I'm on a computer without Adblock.
