The XBox One Trainwreck Continues: Mandatory Region Locking Confirmed

I keep wanting to type "M$" for microsoft, but then I realized they like shooting themselves in the feet with heavy ordnance, so I guess just "MS" is appropriate.
Microsoft is shooting themselves in the head with this bullshit and the other stuff (cough used games fee cough)
Microsoft does not seem to be at all in touch with their customer base.
The publishers and copyright lobbies? Nah, they're getting along just fine!
For every news about the trainwreck that is Xbox One, I put one Euro into my savings account.
I already have enough money to buy the PS4 twice.
I think the price is going to be what really establishes whether the pros and cons are that important. I really love forza so I might end up buying one anyway. I mean I bought a ps3 soon after it came out just for the bluray player. Will any of the features and being an all in one box for my netflix/hbo-go, regular tv, some video games that aren't on PC, as well as bluray be enough to dismiss all these things microsofts shooting itself with? I'm assuming the price will be more competitive than the last generation was at launch to now that theres hypothetically a much larger audience. It'd be more convenient for me to have one device for everything. I just hate all this bullshit Microsoft is intentionally trying to mess up. It makes no sense honestly.
lol i think MS is paid by Sony to literally do this shit, how can someone shot himself more than one time?
Suicidal Rasputin.

I feel like it won't be long before replacing the S with a $ becomes common practice again.
Fuck this gen, I'm getting a Famulator, Legend Of Zelda, Metroid, Super Mario Bros, Galaga, and a bunch of Chinese/Taiwanese carts. No social features, no DRM, no TV, no shit motion controls, no ads, just pure games.
With all this money I save, I will essentially Press Start To Rich.
I'm seriously considering buying a Famiclone, they are more affordable than the NESes at the local second hand shops.
I blame the Dendy Chronicles.
You're honestly better off just emulating if you're gonna use a goddamn NES-on-a-chip anyway. Go first-party or go home.
Sad thing is, the Xbox One will probably sell way more than the PS4 due to the name. I'm totally getting a PS4, but I know so many people who are psyched about the new Xbox, simply because it's a new Xbox.
have you tried telling them why it's going to be shit because if it sell's well that's saying to companies that gamers like getting fucked over
Xbox One failed every single one of its remaining customers of Xbox 360, it is just a shame that they forced me into PS4.
region locking made sense when tvs couldn't handle anything but their native format, be it ntsc or pal. why do we still have it.
You can have staggered release dates, different prices in different regions, and actually get away with it if you've region locked everything. It's a racket, nothing more.
Random revival ?
Since MS has gone back on some of the DRM, was this one of the things they cut?
With all the censorship and ridiculous game prices here, importing is the best way to get console games.
